Hello Eric, my name is Lonny Ulibarri and I'm the Parts and Service Director and as much as we would like to replace the A/C condenser under warranty, due to damage to the condenser, it’s not covered. Warranty will only cover failed components not damaged components. It’s not anything that I could get goodwill from GM due to damage and not just out of warranty time or mileage. We take pride in taking care of all our customers and if we could repair we would. I can understand the frustration of the repair not being covered so that is why I refunded you the $109.95 checkout fee. Thank you and have a great day. -Lonny Ulibarri | Parts & Service Director

Lonny, Why would you respond differently from how you responded to em in your email, accusing me of trying to have you defraud GM? This was not the only exchange between us and frankly is just showing how your group continues to defraud the public from what your actual response to me was? Should I post it? Should you be allowed to not actually show the the reponse you actually wrote to me or how another dealer found that it actually was still fixable and your techs didn't actually go any further once you tried to make me pay an astronomical amount of money to rectify the issue? Again, just another way your group goes about trying to defraud the public in thinking you were trying to be the good guy when in fact you weren't and your group needs extensive training and GM needs to review whether your group should even be allowed to hold a franchise to sell their vehicles. If you think this is over, far from it. I have already filed a small claim against you and GM for not covering something that clearly is a poor design issue with the suburban and your failure to go to GM and point it out and cover a vehicle with 22,000 miles. The press alone on something like this will cost the two of you much more than just fixing something that was GM's issue, but the fact that your group failed to fight for a customer and GM's lack of acknowledgement shows how both of your companies care nothing about a client who purchased a $50,000 dollar plus vehicle and is treated like a second class citizen. Even the worst manufacturers today have more class and their dealers more integrity than your group. To not publish the emails of our conversation demonstrates how much your embarrassed on how you handled this.

David - I would like to take a few moments to respond to the issues you and your wife had on your last service visit. It seems that most of the problems you had were related to the loaner car situation and the policies put in place by the dealership and General Motors. I believe there may have been a misunderstanding during that portion of the visit, so I would like to express a couple things that may clear things up. The loaner cars that are supplied by GM for service customers have to be sold as new cars when they are retired from the loaner, fleet. So with that in mind, it is the service department's responsibility to make sure they are kept in great condition. That is the reason we can’t allow smoking or pets inside the loaner cars. I am sure you can imagine if you were going to buy a new car and were allergic to animals, or could not handle a smoke smell, it would not be fair to you. The same goes when we extend complimentary loaner vehicles, we need to make sure each service customer receives the car in that same condition. At no point was the service department trying to charge you for an unrealistic issue and I hope that the items I pointed out have helped clear some of that up. Again, I do apologize for any misunderstanding, but our loaner car rules are in place for every customer and we have very little issues.
