Hello, My name is Michael Cook and I am the General Manager here at Freeway Chevrolet. I apologize for the way you feel, and I also disagree strongly that we are despicable. I know that you personally were not ever in the delaership and you are hearing everything from your husband, I certainly can understand you standing by him, I would as well if I were you. My finance director, Jay Zomlefer has been with me for about 9 years. He is a professional and has a very high degree of integrity. The fact of the matter is, your husband told the sales department that he wanted a warranty if it was available--- There was no warranty available on the truck your husband wanted to buy because of the age and mileage of the vehicle. Jay informed your husband of this and your husband was hesitant to sign the papers and Jay said it was 100% up to him. Your husband did sign all the documents that solidified his ownership of the truck. After purchasing the truck, we were contacted and informed that you preferred to go through your own credit union for the financing, we were fine with that and we waited to hear from you and your credit union. Your husband came in and he and my sales manager Sean got into a verbal confrontation and Sean exercised poor judgement and had the vehicle towed. His point was your husband was stating that he did not own it and that he felt your husband was accusing us of doing something wrong. In fact, your husband legally owned the vehicle regardless of where he left it and Sean certainly should not have had it towed to your house. When I found out about the situation I had Jay Zomlefer call you immediately and I sent Sean personally to retrieve the truck. I also reversed the contract and released you from the obligation of ownership. I did this as I felt that Sean was out of line and if you were this adamant about not owning it, I was not interested in pushing the issue. Sean did indeed use poor judgement, but I have 97 other employees and one employee's mistake should not reflect on the entire delaership. Sean was reprimanded and I am positive that he will use better judgement in the future. I do apologize for his behavior. Keep in mind that your husband did indeed sign all the documents and he legally owned the truck. If we were despicable and did not care about our customers, you would still own the truck. I feel as though we acted swiftly to right the wrong that had been done by Sean and I and Jay have both apologized at this point. I am surprised you did not mention that part of it, and only the bad part, but that is your right. I wish you the best of luck going forward and again I am sorry that you feel this way about Freeway Chevrolet. Michael Cook

Hello, Thank you for bringing this to my attention. We do offer a price match guarantee on all tires and on most services. We try to offer a competitive price but we normally do not stop and see if someone is cheaper on every repair or item. That is something that the customer normally does. The tire you needed was available and we quoted you a price of $190.00. WE DID do an online search after you requested it and did not find the tire at a lower price. Even though we did not find it lower, we gave you a small discount to try to make you happy, but it appears that we have failed to make you happy regardless. But again, if you find it lower, we will certainly honor the lower price. I am sorry that you needed a tire, but I am glad that we noticed it so that your vehicle is safe. Unexpected repairs are never good news. We do care about customer service and we try very hard to make our customers feel at home and we do a lot of research to make sure our prices are competitive with the competition. Thank you, Michael Cook

Hello and Thank you for sharing your opinion. Vince is a great employee and he is going to a great job in sales. We do a full inspection and recommend repairs that you need now and will need in the future. As far as breaks go--- At the recommended replacement level, the brakes will still work, but they will not work as well as they should, and with something as important as brakes, we do not recommend taking chances. It is your vehicle and you can maintain it as little or as much as you like, but we are required to document anything that we see and most customers appreciate us letting them know. I apologize if our system is not working for you, but if you communicate with the service advisor he can just let you know quicklly and /or in writing and then you can decide at your leisure when or if you want to do recommended repairs. I apologize for the experience you had with Freeway Michael Cook

Hello Mr. Smith, I apologize for your obvious dissatisfaction and for the negative experience that you had. We do add tint, nitrogen, and paint sealant to all the vehicles that we purchase from Chevrolet. We in turn re-sell the vehicles with these items on them. We own the vehicles and this is something we do upfront rather than after as most customers ask for these items later. All of the items come with lifetime warranty and unlimited refills and/or repairs. Most of our customers appreciate having these items, but obviously we cannot make everyone happy. For the record, if you finance $1000 dollars at 0% for 60 months your payment would be $16.67. I do not know the specifics of your deal structure, but we always recommend that our customers finance in the shortest term possible with at a minimum of tax, title and license down so as they will be in a good financial situation with no negative equity. A lot of people buy with 0 down and go the longest term possible and then have a negative equity problem. Again-- just a matter of preference. I am glad that you found the vehicle you were looking for and I am sorry we failed to communicate properly and obviously dd not listen properly. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Michael Cook
