Help with the car’s technology I made an appointment with John De Palma. He was excellent in teaching me how to use technology in the car. He was patient. Waste of Time My new 2018 Subaru Outback is only a few weeks old, and already has problems with the sound system. The hours at all the Subaru Service centers in the My new 2018 Subaru Outback is only a few weeks old, and already has problems with the sound system. The hours at all the Subaru Service centers in the area for this type of problem are really inconvenient (weekday mornings and early afternoons only). I left work early for a 2:30 appt. The check in process took longer than it should have, and the same person asked my name 3 times, which was not an impressive start. After waiting 75 minutes with no update on my vehicle (trying simply to have it diagnosed, not fixed), I went back to the service desk and inquired as to the status of my car. I was told it hadn't even been looked at yet. I was told there were two cars ahead of mine, and the service representative couldn't give me an estimate on when it might be seen. I asked them to grab my car for me, and am never going back to this service center. These places need to learn to staff appropriately, not overbook their schedules, and in the event they're still running late, call and let their customers with apts know that know so they're not wasting everyone's time. The expectation that I should willingly spend several hours during the business day to simply find out what's wrong with my brand new Subaru is utterly ridiculous. The manager phoned me after I left, and I missed his call because I was driving. I called back, left my name, and his voicemail cut me off before I could say more. I didn't receive a callback thereafter. This place is terrible. If you value your time, go elsewhere. More

Saturday December 30 So Thurs Dec 28, I walked in and got seven lights (bulbs) replaced on my 2011 outback. Except they missed the license plate bulb! Saturday December 30, Husband came in at 11:45 to get it fixed, was told, nope," mechanics will be taking lunch soon". "You can come back at 1:00" so they were not even busy that day (snowing). It would've taken 5 minutes to replace that one exterior bulb. More

Always trying to replace a cabin air filter. Misquoted price for repair, called back 3 days later with double the quoted repair price. Can't trust local Subaru service, so now I am going to independent garages. 18 years of dealer service now coming to an end. More
