Started this relationship on line with 6 dealerships competing for my business. My initial contact with Freehold Dodge Subaru was a call and follow-up emails from Taylor who made a fabulous first impres competing for my business. My initial contact with Freehold Dodge Subaru was a call and follow-up emails from Taylor who made a fabulous first impression with attention to detail and an honest representation of this family owned dealership. In comparison to the five other dealerships she won my comfort and therefore my business. She emailed me the actual car vin with pictures and the options included and the final walk away price. The other dealerships were only looking to get me into their dealership, some said they had the car available on their lot when in reality they did not as it was not on their own website inventory, when questioned on the phone they said oh sorry that was since sold. I made an appointment with Taylor that day visited and met with salesperson Mike Moursy once again a great greeting, statement of the Dealerships long history in providing exceptional service, the hand-off from Taylor to Mike was professional and added all the comfort I needed to lease my new 2014 Legacy. In my 40 years of buying and leasing cars Mike was by far the best salesperson working in my best interests. The closing price was exactly what I was expecting and the deal was done. I also returned my leased 2011 legacy with Freehold Subaru that I previously leased at All American Subaru right in my own town of Old Bridge however from a previous poor customer service experience on my second car leased with All American Subaru I decided to find a new dealer and one that I trust, from my initial experience I've found one in Freehold Dodge/Subaru and expect that relationship will grow over time.. I recently picked up a late model Honda Civic with low mileage from Freehold Subaru. The price was competitive and the car was in showroom condition but most of all buying the car was a real pleasant exp mileage from Freehold Subaru. Purchased my 3rd Subaru, a 2014 Forrester this time. Sales representative did a good job of qualifying my needs, didn't pressure to oversell. I had previously done a web quote, so price negotiation wasn't much of a factor. I did get a fair value for my trade-in. Professional, polite, knowledgeable. Once I had pretty much made a decision (except for the critical "wife approval"), I was able to take the car home & pick her up for a test drive. What a surprise when she walked out expecting to drive down to the dealership for a look, and the new vehicle was in the driveway! I doubt that's standard practice, but it closed the sale for us. Closing/finance process and other paperwork was quick. Well done (and I have a background including sales, so can be critical if things aren't right). More
