Mike and Leon came chasing after my friends car becuase i had just attempted to buy a car and they wanted me to sign a document and take care home because the banks were already closed ( I was warned about t had just attempted to buy a car and they wanted me to sign a document and take care home because the banks were already closed ( I was warned about this process they apparantely use frequently). I did not feel comfortable leaving the dealerhip with a vehicle that had no aggreement papers drawn up. Mike, the salesperson, was unwilling to tell us anything about the car and prep for sale. I also found that warranty papers that he asked me to sign were not signed by the dealership. I was treated unfairly and felt like the dealership was untruthful and a bunch of con-artists. I would never go back or recommend to anyone. More

Freehold Hyundai had a great atmosphere from the moment I walked into the door. We leased a new 2013 Hynudai Sonata from Freehold Hyundai on May 17, 2012. We decided after the first hour that we wanted the car, then spent the next FIVE HOURS waiting for Finance! We finally got the car, on May 17, 2012. We decided after the first hour that we wanted the car, then spent the next FIVE HOURS waiting for Finance! We finally got the car, and agreed to pay $4,000 as a down payment, with the understanding (in our contract) that Freehold Hyundai would use $1,040 of the $4,000 to pay off the Toyota Camry we traded in that day. Imagine our surprise when JUNE rolled around and we got a bill from TOYOTA for both our May AND June payments, with a late fee for May's payment! They NEVER paid Toyota!! We called Freehold and were told by "Pete" that he would "look into it", and that Freehold Hyundai would be paying off Toyota. As if that experience wasn't bad enough, we knew that our first lease payment would be due on June 17, 2012. As of June 12, 2012, we never received a bill for the payment...but we DID receive a call again from Pete telling us to bring our first lease payment to Freehold "so you don't incur a late fee." I asked why we would incur a late fee as we never got a bill. He said "oh something got screwed up in your paperwork." xxx??? We then called Hyundai Finance to ask if we should do that, and THEY told us we were not in their system anywhere. SO...to sum up... 1. Freehold Hyundai took 5 hours to finish a deal with us that should have taken no more than 2 hours. 2. Freehold Hyundai took a $4,000 deposit from us that included $1,040 to pay off our Toyota lease, and never paid Toyota. 3. Freehold Hyundai "screwed up" our paperwork (as per Pete) which resulted in our never receiving our first lease payment. 4. Freehold Hyundai is "looking into it"...4 times now! Our recommendation...do NOT deal with Freehold Hyundai...EVER! More
