The worst experience. They had me drop my car off 4 times for the same issue. Then they make a huge body line dent and don’t even tell us they did it. We saw it when we got home. Really disappointed. for the same issue. Then they make a huge body line dent and don’t even tell us they did it. We saw it when we got home. Really disappointed. More
My brand new RAM had a pretty bad vibration at speeds over 40MPH. Went to Freehold Dodge RAM to have it checked - after a day of "checking" they called me back giving an excuse that the truck's tires wer over 40MPH. Went to Freehold Dodge RAM to have it checked - after a day of "checking" they called me back giving an excuse that the truck's tires were flat spotted due to spending too much time sitting in the driveway. The funny part was when I went back in and listened to the service advisors talking to other customers - same excuse over and over in both Dodge/RAM and Subaru sections. Spoke with the mechanic directly - he said since you car is still under one year, wheels balancing is under warranty. I'll suggest we try it and maybe it'll fix the issue. They "perform" the wheel balancing. Well at least the invoice states that. I don't know if they have not or just not capable of performing wheel balancing properly but the issue was still there. All they told me was to call Chrysler directly to see if they can resolve the "flat spotting" under warranty. Called Chrysler - they said tires are not under warranty. Call Good Year directly. Fine, I call Good Year and their truly amazing customer service immediately sets me up with an appointment at a local Good Year authorized shop to have the tires checked out. The guys at a shop check the tires and wheels and tell me they don't see any flat spots BUT they remove the wheels and find out that all four wheels are unbalanced and one of they 4 wheels is sooooo unbalanced that it required road force balancing performed. Since it's not a tire defect but a regular service performed (which Freehold Dodge RAM supposedly performed) they charged me $76.And guess what... they issue was resolved by wheel balancing!!! Or should I say re-balancing after Freehold Dodge "balanced" them? I wanted to let Freehold Dodge RAM to do the right thing before calling FCAA. I called them up and left a message with the receptionist. My service advisor Raul calls back. Very calm and speaks nicely and tells me in a nice way that he checked with his supervisor who said they won't refund me anything at all and it's my problem. I reconfirmed twice that they want to have a complaint filed and negative reviews left over $76 and the answer was almost "do what you wanna do". Clearly they don't care for the reputation and I'm hoping this review reaches the service manager and the dealership's GM. Unreal frustration!!! Can't believe this service and claims that the work has been performed. Makes me question whether it was really performed or whoever did the balancing didn't know what they were doing??? Have all the paperwork to support this!!! Beware.... Off to file a complaint with FCAA... More

I had originally set an appointment with Freehold Dodge service for my passenger side mirror to be replaced on Sept 28, 2020. I told them what the problem was and they told me they would order the mirror. service for my passenger side mirror to be replaced on Sept 28, 2020. I told them what the problem was and they told me they would order the mirror. I then switched the apt for Oct 2, 2020 which they accommodated me with. I took this day off without pay so I could get it done. I spoke to 3 separate people in the interim. So I go to the dealer service center to have it done and low and behold they don't have my mirror in. It was never ordered. The service guy then tells me that the part would have to be paid up front to order the mirror. You would think that one of the 3 service people I spoke with would have told me that info. what a complete incompetent service this turns out to be. I told the guy why would I have set an appt. if I had known this tiny bit of information (sarcasm). I am so pissed off with this lack of incompetent service. Oh. you would think out of common courtesy the guy would have apologize for the mix up, no! I guess its not in their DNA or they just don't really care about their customer after all. More

RIDICULOUS!!! STAY FAR AWAY!!! My '09 Ram sat there immobile for 5 weeks for a 2 day warranty "fix" on the transmission. Unfortunately weeks later, when it snowed, I realized that My '09 Ram sat there immobile for 5 weeks for a 2 day warranty "fix" on the transmission. Unfortunately weeks later, when it snowed, I realized that the "fix" was not so fixed and that it would not go into 4WD. Made an appt, physically went in to talk to my svc advisor prior and then thankfully I thought to ask when I went to drop off (w/ another advisor) if it would be looked at today. "Oh no, we're way backed up and have no idea when." SERIOUSLY?!?! This is the continuation of an unresolved problem, no way am I going to the back of the line again! And no way am I going to be without a vehicle just because 4WD isn't working. I was also told a couple of years ago that I needed new brake pads AND rotors. I declined and decided to do the work myself. I ordered everything on-line and when I went to do the work and my rotors were absolutely fine. That is really shady stuff!! In order to stay current on recalls, etc, I have ALWAYS done ALL of my service (short of that brake job) with them on both Dodge trucks that I've owned over the past 15yrs. I actually suffered through their sales department a 2nd time just because I liked the service guys, or atleast the one that I frequently dealt with. There were a couple of other stupid things over the past few years, but convenience in location and one nice guy is not remotely worth all of the other BS. Time to branch out and find a reputable dealer/service center and I recommend that you do the same. Any rating that I give above ZERO STARS is only for the svc advisor, Jay Ekdahl, whom I believe is there to help and is a genuinely nice guy, otherwise Freehold Dodge is a waste of time and money. No service Let's just say you can't trust their service department to actually do anything they say they would. And even doing nothing will take them about 2 day Let's just say you can't trust their service department to actually do anything they say they would.
