She dealt with Dennis and Clay at the Whitesboro, TX facility. Naturally, she was nervous about such a long-distance transaction over the phone, but everything was as we were told it would be. We are very happy with the vehicle and the price, and we recommend this dealership (specifically Dennis and Clay) to anyone looking for a dealer with intergity. More
Worst experience I've ever had I would give a negative 5 if I could. 45 days and 700 miles after buying a Jeep for my daughter who had just graduated from the University of Missour I would give a negative 5 if I could. 45 days and 700 miles after buying a Jeep for my daughter who had just graduated from the University of Missouri I called Shawn my salesman because my daughter called to say that every time she used her brakes she heard a terrible grinding noise. Not exactly what a parent wants to hear when the whole purpose of upgrading was to make sure she is in a reliable vehicle 500 miles away in Midwestern weather. I told her to take it to the local Jeep dealer immediately who was kind enough not only to do a complimentary top to bottom inspection, but called me directly to explain that she needed new brakes and rotors as hers were unsafe. They were flabbergasted to learn that we had just purchased the vehicle 45 days prior from a Jeep Dealer in Texas because most dealerships have strict criteria to meet before putting even a used vehicle on the lot... and it would have been pretty hard to miss the condition of these brakes 700 miles earlier especially given they had just put on a new set of tires prior to purchase. They also said even if my daughter rode the brakes nonstop for the last 700 miles they wouldn't have been in this condition if they were within "safe margins" at the time of purchase. When I called Shawn, explained the circumstances, and asked him to at least meet me half way on the $500 plus repairs... he pretty much called me a liar and actually said, "well what do you want from me Lori". I told him I would have liked for him to step up to the plate and accept responsibility for his Service Department missing the boat but since it didn't appear he was going to do that I would be on my way because I own a business and I am well aware of how important referrals and social media are. Then, he said, "ma'am... you just go right ahead and trash us out and write up all the bad comments you want online because I don't give a sh!!" Then "click". Yep... lol that's exactly what happened. He hung up on me. Typically, I would have called his Manager immediately, but quite honestly, I had such a bad feeling, I just wanted to forget everything that had anything to do with that man and that buying experience. However, shortly after that conversation I did buy another used automobile for my 2nd daughter as it was time to retire her Jeep Liberty and not only did I stay far far away from Hoyte Chrysler Jeep in Sherman Texas, I had a thorough mechanical inspection within a week of driving it off the lot. Shawn was quick to close the deal but fell short on delivering basic courtesy. More

Sam the service writer says my battery is bad and she had to jump it 3 times just to get it out of the bay. I told her I'll change the battery myself. When I got to my jeep, it was dumping coolant all over the floor. I opened the hood and found the top radiator hose disconnected. Sam tells me in a very snotty voice "I didn't touch your radiator hose!" So I get the hose put back on and fill it back up and low and behold, the jeep starts right up. No battery problem at all. Still have the same battery and not one problem since. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, perhaps she's never driven a stick and didn't know you have to push the clutch in to start the jeep. But you'd think a mechanic would tip her off. Or she was just trying to sell a battery to a dummy that doesn't know anything about cars. More

They seriously gang up and lie and bully you until you will do anything to end the situation. I cannot imagine the people that have been ripped off merely to walk away half sane. Unless you walk in with a physical blank check, they will run your credit multiple times then tell you that your score is different than what you know it to be and when the banks (plural) call, they "changed" the rate after your conversation. In the end if you are insistent on an actual sale price, not payment based on your score, they will "have to lower" your rate to get you there. Never ever talk in terms of payments. Once you've signed.... Get ready. The xx gets WORSE. I sound like a crazy person even detailing the events. More
Poor customer service $125 for new key, which would start the truck but not unlock the door. Service guy told me the truck must have been re-keyed. I had bought the truck $125 for new key, which would start the truck but not unlock the door. Service guy told me the truck must have been re-keyed. I had bought the truck new from them and this was not the case. Incompetence. Scheduled transmission sevice, went in for appointment and was told my particular transmission did not require sevice, but the differential fluids needed to be changed. The woman showed me the service schedule which indicated "inpect", only replace under severe use conditions. I explaned we rarely pull a trailer or use 4WD. She told me we live in a severe climate Dallas, TX), I asked her for an an example of a non-severe climate location, San Diego she says. I asked her how the inspect the fluid. They check for leaks, must be the highly specialized training they get. There is a higher level failure here, this is not solely the fault of the front line workers. More

Car Fax showed noth Purchased a used vehicle here through the Salesman Nick. Vehicle had prior damage and broken front sensor that had to be replaced. Car Fax showed nothing and they say they do an "Inspection" before offering vehicles for sell. These are lies, they will sell you a damaged vehicle. Make sure you inspect everything in and out. Before and after you make the mistake of buying a vehicle here. Take it to a personal mechanic or another dodge dealership because their service department is garbage, keep reading for more on that. Do not trust the Salesman. When I took my vehicle to get the sensor looked at, the service department lady Samantha said they needed a new sensor to install. After waiting for a week for the part, I took my car in. I was given a loaner car, and they DO NOT provide insurance, you have to use your own. The loaner car was filled with trash and other people's belongings. I didn't properly inspect the car myself as it was raining and they pulled it up in the rain for me to get in. INSPECT your loaner car, as they do not. After returning the loaner car I was told a crack on the windshield was not there before. Samantha told us $650 to replace a crack on the windshield. I called the service manager because that's obviously a joke of a price. Service manager charged me $425 for the windshield. I paid to prevent them from trying to put it on my insurance. After getting a receipt I found the car's inspection history. The last inspection for the car was in May at 3k miles. I got the car in late August with almost 12k miles on it, I took a picture of the mileage on the way home. Once again, they do not inspect or maintain their loaner/rentals and they use customers to pay for repairs. I assume the service manager is unaware or does not care about the neglect of how they lend out loaner and rental cars. After receiving my car back, the front sensor almost immediately had errors appearing on my dash asking for it to be serviced, along with traction control and ABS lights flashing. There was new damage to my vehicle on the underside and new clicking noises when turning to the right and breaking. Both front tension rods where not broken and another sensor was damaged. This was verified by my personal mechanics and another dodge dealership. After my vehicle came back in more damage. I checked my dashcam I had installed and found some pretty interesting footage. Mechanics racing through the parking lot where you can hear the tires squealing from them speeding. I also have footage of the mechanics going to a gas station and going into the station and bringing back food and drinks into my vehicle, along with throwing my personal belongings in the cup holders into the back seat. They also at that point unplugged my personal dashcam. They did not plug it back in until they were half way pulling my car up for me to pick up. I'm assuming the mechanics use mine and other personal vehicles for their own personal pleasure, clearly as I have footage of this. They also apparently damage customer vehicles and do not properly fix issues you bring them in for. Since than I have taken in my vehicle to another Dodge dealership and have had everything fixed and verified. I also assume again the service manager is unaware or does not care about the neglect and damaged their mechanics do to customer's vehicles. Do not Trust Hoyte's mechanics and service department. Very tempted to contact BBB. This dealership is a joke. Stay away from dealerships in Sherman/Bonham areas. Look at the other reviews for this dealership, majority are most likely faked to boost their rating. The same issues I experienced are the same issues people have posted on reviews for the past 2 years. More
Dodge Dakota lemmon Do yourself a favor and keep driving. I bought a used dodge Dakota which was supposedly belonged to one of their mechanics and had been pampered its Do yourself a favor and keep driving. I bought a used dodge Dakota which was supposedly belonged to one of their mechanics and had been pampered its whole life. Not exactly the case. I've had it 2 years and here is list of repairs. Water pump replacement , ECM computer failure, tie rods and ball joints gone, no spare tire, (which must have just been a convenient oversight, yea right). New gas gap and diagnostic of $80.00 just so they could rule out the gas cap when the check engine light came on again after two weeks. They wanted another $80.00 to try and figure it out. It was the ECM, computer with an error code P0601. Apparently this was diagnostic feat too grand for these guys; so I figured out out it out On my own and replaced it for $200.00. The front passenger and rear left passenger window tracks fell, new motors required. And the latest failure as of July 6th 2016; powers steering pump failure, and fan clutch totaling $1200.00. Please avoid the heartache I've endured and find another dealer. There's no deal good enough offset the heartache you'll get trading there. More

They need to go to Chrysler university This place is a disaster.. The salesman new very little about the product. Did not know gas tank size, told me my truck had nav. When I asked him late This place is a disaster.. The salesman new very little about the product. Did not know gas tank size, told me my truck had nav. When I asked him later where is my nav? He said all Longhorns have nav and it must be there.. He sold me a lone star. I made a deal of 72 months and zero down with payments less than $500 / month until I got to finance the next day and they changed it to 75 months.. Too busy to close deal that day. They removed my ladder rack and headache rack from my trade in and I drove my new truck home to discover it had body damage when I was leaving the lot. Salesman said they could fix it. I told him I'm not buying a damaged truck. While driving home I discovered no CD player. The next day I closed the new deal after being told that trucks don't come with CD players anymore. Should have backed out but had to get back to work and my stuff was already removed from my trade in. Took the new truck home with nobody lifting a finger to demo features. Had to figure out what DEF was on my own. And the gear button. Brought truck to get nav that sales manager allowed and told service guy that favorites on xm doesn't work properly. They had the truck 5 hours and didn't bother to check into the xm problem. I was later told that I could run it up there (40 miles each way) and they will look at it. I have called sales managers and even a person that had a voice mail of Hoyte. Nobody cares to call back.. I did speak with managers prior but Hoyte had two of my voice mails and was too busy.. I was told that the service department is in shambles.. This whole experience has been a regret. The product is great but the dealership needs to close its doors. My daughter needs a new car and I'm taking her to frisco dodge. A roofing salesman I met wants a truck like mine and I told him to stay away from Hoyte. He bought the same truck at bonham. I talked to another guy today and explained that it will be a nightmare if he goes to Hoyte. I called the sales manager today after he told me two weeks ago that he would call me back. I left a message to never call me and to lose my number. He called and left message finally. What part of don't ever call me again does he not understand..
