Sold ma a van that had been submerged in water DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS COMPANY!! As Regimental Sergeant major of the old Guard, I wanted to purchase a Van to take my family on vacation DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS COMPANY!! As Regimental Sergeant major of the old Guard, I wanted to purchase a Van to take my family on vacation before having to move to Japan as their new Command Sergeant Major. I PURCHASED a 2013 Town and Country Van from Fred’s Executive Auto on 7/25/2018 in VA. After only 10 Days (Saturday 8/4/2018), my family and I were stranded, due to the vehicle breaking down. The repair shop informed me that the van needed a new transmission on 7/6/2018 He also said the van had been submerged in water. If I knew the van had been submerged in water, I would have never purchased it. That was NEVER disclosed to me. I contacted Fred’s auto and spoke to Tony. His response was that he bought it at auction, and this has nothing to do with him after selling it to me. He told me to call his personal connection Patrick, at the warranty company. I called Patrick repeatedly at the number he gave me. No one ever answered. I called Tony back, and informed him that I had to get a rental van, and me and my family are stuck in North Carolina, because he sold me a van that had been submerged in water. He said he would get the warranty company to take care of this as soon as possible, I goggle- searched the 1-800 number and got in touch with the warranty company on 14 Aug, They were only covering $1100. To replace the transmission would be $4,500.00. So, at this point my family and I have been stranded in N.C. For 10 days, incurring about $2,100, in rental vans and hotels. I called Tony back at Fred’s Executive Auto and left a message with another employee for him to call me. Tony called me the next day and told me out of the kindness of the company’s heart, they will give us a $1,000.00 to go towards the fixing of the vehicle. That was not the answer I wanted to hear, considering his company never disclosed to me that the van had been submerged in water. If I knew that, I wouldn't have purchased it. THIS undisclosed fact is the reason the transmission needed to be replaced. my family is stranded and will be paying about $4,500.00 on top of the $15,000 we bought the vehicle for, with a $1,500 down payment. Tony had the nerve to say, if I get the vehicle towed to his shop in VA. from New Bern NC using my own money, his shop will fix the trans for $2,500.00. I will save $1,500 on the transmission but it will cost me $1,000.00 to ship it, still leaving me without a vehicle to drive, and $2100 in van rental cost I had already incurred. I told Tony that none of this is an acceptable solution, AND THAT HE NEEDED TO COME GET HIS VEHICLE, AND GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK UNDER THE LEMON LAW. HE said that used car dealers are not governed under the lemon law in the state of Virginia. He then told me he was done with this entire situation. FRED’S EXECUTIVE AUTO SOLD ME A LEMON!!! COSTING ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND PUTTING MY FAMILY THROUGH EXTREME DISTRESS! THIS issue WAS CAUSED BY FRED’S EXECUTIVE AUTO’S ARROGANCE AND DISHONEST PRACTICES OF SELLING UNFIT VEHICLES. These people are crooks and have left me and my family stranded!!! Do not trust them! More

I had heard raving reviews about Fred's Executive Auto and decided to check them out. First, I went online to there website which was extremely organized, informative, and easy to navigate. I found a vehicle that I liked; however, unfortunately, when I had gotten there, the vehicle I wanted had already been sold. The extremely friendly staff had found a similar car within the week for me. They also checked the car to make sure that it was in excellent condition. I took the car myself to a mechanic for a second opinion just to make sure and was ecstatic to see that it didn't have a single problem. They even told me to come back if it did. These individuals truly care about helping you find the perfect car as well as keeping up with excellent customer service. I would 100% recommend anyone in the market for a vehicle to go to this dealership. If I had to go through the process again, I would 100% go back to this dealership. More

Not only did they help me with purchasing a car they were tremendously kind and made me feel like family. Recently I was involved in a minor car accident which cosmetically destroyed my VWJ. I called the dealership back and the Owner told me to bring it in and they’ll have a look at it. Just like that they did. They replaced both quarter panels, installed a new grill and rotated my tires at a very affordable price. Overall I am very pleased with Fred’s Auto Executive because they focus on quality of service in every aspect. FIVE out of FIVE stars I definitely WOULD RECOMMEND to a FRIEND. More

I called and spoke with a representative that explained I should come visit the location to test drive the car, etc. I arrived to the dealership around noon, and it wasn't many people there. I was greeted and given a bottle of water. It was a meaningful experience. Every customer that came in had positive energy and left me feeling like I was making a good decision. I left with my dream car and had no problems. Instantly, It was the easiest relationship built. At Fred's they're patient, and treat people as a priority. I felt good doing business here.
