Shelley Jenkins, our service professional, explained ve We went to the dealership today to pick up our 2003 Toyota Corolla which was in for servicing. Shelley Jenkins, our service professional, explained very clearly what had been done to the car and why. During the conversation Shelley mentioned that she had recently obtained a new Corolla which she liked very much. We asked her if we could look at some new Corollas, just to see what they looked like as we weren’t really in the market for a new car. Shelley introduced us to Christen Salvatico who discussed our needs and wants to ascertain the best Corolla model for us. She showed us an LE model in the color that we were most interested in and with the built-in equipment that we wanted. A test drive showed that it was a significant improvement over our old Corolla in terms of noise abatement, handling, and pick up. Pretty much everything about the new model was much better than the old model. Ably assisted by the dealership manager, Steven Rhoades, Christen was able to come up with a very attractive price. Although we hadn’t come into the dealership with any thought of purchasing a new car the offer was so attractive and the car such a pleasure to drive that we did indeed purchase our new Corolla LE. Blake Dunn very competently took us through the paperwork, explaining all of our options with regard to service contracts and other options. After that was done Christen spent a considerable amount of time going over the car’s features with us, even setting up my iPhone on the built in Bluetooth. All in all it was a very pleasant and rewarding experience. I would gladly recommend Fred Anderson Toyota of Charleston to anybody and everybody. More

terrible I made an appt at the dealership this past Friday for 1130 am. When I arrived the lady that took my info said it'd take a max of 1.5 hours for a full I made an appt at the dealership this past Friday for 1130 am. When I arrived the lady that took my info said it'd take a max of 1.5 hours for a full service. I then used the shuttle to go to the local mall - everything was going smooth at this point. After two hours of being at the mall with no phone call to let me know my car was finished I decided to call the dealership. I was greeted by the receptionist and transferred to the service dept which told me my car had just been finished. I then called Joanne the shuttle driver and asked her to pick us up and she said 15 min which was no problem. After waiting 25 I decided to call her back. She then said it'd be ten more because she was downtown and I asked her if she was sure since it had already been 25 when she told me 15 earlier and she hung the phone up on me. Finally after another 20 min wait we made it back to the dealership with a silent ride from joanne. In total this appt ended up taking a little over three hours. When getting my keys back from the lady in service I told her that joanne had hung up on me and her response was "were you rude to her?" No, I was not and is that an excuse to hang up on a customer anyways? I then asked to speak to a manager and he was not there but I was given his name and number. So to top my experience off I left the manager a voice mail and now two days later still no one has returned my phone call. More

Fast, Friendly and Reliable I brought my car in for its first oil change, but forgot to mention a problem with my window tent until the last minute. Eddie met with me within a mi I brought my car in for its first oil change, but forgot to mention a problem with my window tent until the last minute. Eddie met with me within a minute of me saying anything. He was polite and fun to deal with. He quickly got me setup with a fix for my window tent scheduled right after my oil change was done. There was no hesitation. I didn't have to over explain or try to fight to get it fixed. He saw a problem and took are of it immediately. I love this dealership. It and my salesman, Eddie, have been the best experience with a dealership that I've ever had. More
Excellent service - kept a trip on schedule ! On Saturday November 1, we were headed out of town and were running a bit late for a 3 hour drive. Of course at that moment the "check tire pressure" On Saturday November 1, we were headed out of town and were running a bit late for a 3 hour drive. Of course at that moment the "check tire pressure" light came on, and since I have the nitrogen-filled tires I couldn't fix it myself. I stopped at Anderson Toyota where I had leased the car, without an appointment hoping for a quick check and fill. Chivas Porter, the service manager, exceeded my expectations. He personally took the car over to the garage, and took care of the tires, probably due to the sudden cold snap. He was back in less than 15 minutes, the problem fixed and we made our trip in time. Thanks for the service, I fear so many places would have used the "no appointment" card. More
