We called and made an appointment for a Check Engine light being on. We have a 2022 Kia Seltos that we bought from Hendrick Barbour in Greenville NC. Vehicle only has like 45000 miles on it and is still light being on. We have a 2022 Kia Seltos that we bought from Hendrick Barbour in Greenville NC. Vehicle only has like 45000 miles on it and is still covered by factory warranty. We took it in June 27 and were told: This dealership could not work on Hendrick warrantied vehicle. I don’t know why but very annoying and irritating. I give one star for this inconvenience but 5 stars for the service department help. I would like to see this inconvenience corrected in the future. More
Horrible. .. They have consistently mislead us when we've brought the car in for service that was supposed to have been covered under their "Family Plan" dealer .. Spent $600 on a sunroof repair that’s know. To break on this car and it’s still not working. They claim that was the first step to fixing it. This was never presented to me as a possible fix. I waited 3 weeks for the appointment and was told to use a trash bag when it rains until they can see the car. Unreal. Also, I had to call 3 times to finally demand a manager to speak with me. Do not buy a car from here. They don’t have time for you nor do they care. More

The service department is excellent, professional, accommodating, clean, organized and stress free for the customer. And most importantly the mechanical work done is fine. All in all a department i accommodating, clean, organized and stress free for the customer. And most importantly the mechanical work done is fine. All in all a department is non pareil! The excellence is summed up in two words: KEVIN TARPLEY. This service manager imparts knowledge of the engine and car chassis as well as listening to his customer. He establishes eye contact with not only his computer as he reseArches the issues but eye contact with his customer!! He is a huge asset to Fred Andersen KIA. I recommended this business to a friend fir his Sorrento service snd he was satisfied and impressed with Lindsay, service rep as well. More
The service team neglected to perform work based on NHTSA TSB #10185035 - I have a 2019 Kia Niro that has a known transmission issue -I found a service bulletin for this exact issue that others have also TSB #10185035 - I have a 2019 Kia Niro that has a known transmission issue -I found a service bulletin for this exact issue that others have also had (The transmission will make a grinding noise accompanied by a slight shudder when slowing down/braking once the speedometer reaches approximately 30mph) - When I took it in for service, I brought the service bulletin with me, but the service reps ignored it and claimed that the sound it most likely from the hybrid system -They told me that it would take between 3 and 10 days just to diagnose, during which time I will not be provided a loaner or rental - I agreed to leave my car and they paid for a LYFT but only as far as 10 miles away (I live 20 miles away from the dealership/service center) - I had them drop me off at the mall and had to get my husband to pick me up in the middle of his workday - I received a text later the same day with a video from the service tech that stated he reset the "hybrid system" and didn't hear or feel the noise anymore and that I could come get my vehicle - Driving home my car began making the grinding noise again - Now I have to schedule another appointment, this time bringing my husband so they don't ignore me or the service bulletin again More
