Following a car accident in which my car was totalled, at no fault of my own, I was in need of a new car. Ricky took the time to let me try many different cars and offered an honest opinion of each. His patience and friendliness are what brought my back to Breakaway Honda after shopping around at various other dealerships in the area. He went out of his way to make buying a new car a fun experience. Here are the more specific reasons that I purchased the new Honda Accord at Breakaway: 1. Awesome customer service. There was not a person that could have more friendly or accommodating. 2. I liked that I was able to test drive the cars without a "salesman" having to ride with me and give me the minute details of each car. Being allowed to actually try out the car was a definite plus. 3. The lifetime warranty and refund plans on the extended warranties. 4. The straight-forwardness of additional costs, such as taxes, tags, warranties, etc. I had another dealership try to snow me into thinking that the taxes and tags were $4000 or more. Crazy! I refused to talk any further because of that. Bottom line, don't lie about it, you'll only turn away customers. There is no substitution for quality people that are honest, which can be hard to find in the car buying world. 5. I was trying to narrow down between the Accord and the Nissan Altima. I finally went with the Accord because I have have a couple in the past, and they have always been good cars for me. I do wish that there was a USB hook-up for my ipod, but that is really a want, not a need. Thank you for taking what was a very long and tough process of finding a car after an accident and making it a more pleasurable experience. More

The smiling face and open greeting from Representative Ray Adams met my wife and I during a recent visit to Breakaway Honda in Greenville. Mr. Adams was able to put us at ease with a deep understanding of the product he was providing for our consideration. This was not someone pushing for the close of a sale, this was someone who led us to conclude the best action to take would be purchasing a 2010 Accord from Honda. Ray Adams spent a great deal of time with us. The product name can attract the customer but it is only a person with sweeping years of knowledge who can navigate the buyer through the maze of options. Mr. Adams's knowledge and ability to put our sale together was comforting. Why don't we just say it? Breakaway Honda is a top of the line dealership and Ray Adams is a top of the line representative of Breakaway Honda. More
On 4/30/10 I bought my 4th Honda from Breakaway in the last seven or eight years. The sales experience has been consistently good and this time was no exceptoin. This is my third car purchase from Breakaway Honda from Dan Thompson. My second car, a 2008 Honda Accord, had some maintenance issues which Honda USA was unable to resolve. Thankfully, Breakaway Honda went above and beyond Honda USA to resolve the problem. I am grateful to Dan Thompson of sales, Michael in the service department, the sales manager, and the head of the maintenance department. Even the CFO helped me, so I guess the entire Breakaway team was extremely helpful in resolving the issues with my 2008 Honda. I now have a new 2010 Honda Accord with smaller payments, no maintenance issues, and more equity all thanks to Breakaway Honda. I am sure that within the next few years, if not sooner, I will be back to buy yet another car. David Ingle More

Jon Haislip was very prompt in responding to my emails and answered all of my questions. He was very patient, friendly, honest, and kind. When I later found the exact car that I wanted to test drive (20 miles from my home), I still traveled 2 1/2 hours to Breakaway Honda to purchase my new vehicle from Jon because he had been so great. The customer service at Breakaway Honda is so amazing that I intend to use them for all my future purchases and service needs. When my wife and I arrived at Breakaway we were greeted by Mr Adams. We told him what we were there for and he satisfied that request. When we decided to take a look at a different model, Mr Adams graciously made sure we saw what we wanted. At no time did even a hint of "Well, which one did you decide on?" come up. In fact Mr Adams spent more time simply conversing with us than trying to sell us anything, much less a car. I am convinced that had we wanted to, we could have walked away and that would have been okay, too. When I did ask for pricing information, it was given without any pressure what so ever. When left, we had everything we had come for and more. During the ride home we decided that if we bought a new Honda, it would be from Ray Adams at Breakaway. We never even considered visiting another dealership of ANY brand to compare vehicles, pricing or service and that in itself speaks volumes about our experience. When we were introduced to the General Sales Manager, Robby Upton, we talked about families, not Honda cars. In short, it was simply people getting to know people. What a concept!! Am I satisfied with the price I paid? Yes, without question. Would I recommend this dealership? Yes, without any reservation or qualification. More

To two peddlers and a professional, I presented the situation: • I have decided on the make and model and am now shopping price. • You cannot sell me a car today. The latter condition melted the peddlers into puddles of despair. I have not heard from them since. Most car salesmen don’t understand: It doesn’t matter when you get the business, as long as you get the business. At our first contact, Will listened. He followed up. He answered questions. We met again. He followed up. I proposed a deal. He responded promptly. He sold me a car. He followed up. One dealership used a third-party service to follow up after the initial contact. Will did not need a chirpy chick to do his work for him. Finance and customer service personnel at Breakaway were likewise professional, as was the sales process itself. Noteworthy in this regard, sales discussions were exclusively with Will. Understandably, he had to clear the numbers with the sales manager, but the manager himself never appeared. At one dealership, I was assailed by three layers of managers, the effect of which was to diminish the salesman—and each previous manager—in the eyes of the customer. It was a pleasure to deal with Breakaway. Their professionalism goes a long way toward giving the car business a good name. More
