Upon arriving, DAN THOMPSON met us and as we already knew what car we wanted to test-drive, he got us squared away for that. I appreciate the fact that during our time there he didn't try to entice us with other versions of the same car, other colors of the same car, or different cars altogether, as some crooked dealers do. I appreciate the fact that the car we were explicitly interested in was the only one we talked about and that he didn't try and lure us towards something more expensive or unrelated. Dan was also very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He even knew how to open the gas tank panel, something that another Honda dealer salesman in the area did not. Price negotiations went smoothly and I felt I got a fair price--of course there isn't much leeway when the car is already one of the cheapest on the market. From the time we set foot in the dealership to the time my wife drove out of the lot with her new car was about 2 hours. Supposedly the salesmen at this dealer don't work on commission and I'd say that it definitely shows, as they are much more straightforward and honest and don't try and beat around the bush or one-up you.
