We began an e-mail dialogue with Christine Brunt at Breakaway Honda only a few days before we actually purchased our new 2011 Pilot EX. This was strictly an "opportunistic" purchase for us, as our old Breakaway Honda only a few days before we actually purchased our new 2011 Pilot EX. This was strictly an "opportunistic" purchase for us, as our old (2006) Pilot EX was in fine shape. However, because of current good pricing and low interest rates, we thought we'd explore what our opportunities might be to upgrade to a new car. We had nothing to lose and we were very straightforward about this with Christine via e-mail, explaining that we were not tire-kickers and that only a very good deal would interest us. Christine understood this angle right away and cut right to the chase with solid pricing for the new Pilot and good value for our old Pilot (based only on our detailed description of our old car's condition). This sort of dialogue incentivized us to visit the dealership for a test-drive of the new cars, just to make sure that we really would like a new Pilot versus our old one. Christine confirmed the value of the deal and--much to our surprise, since we had no such expectations--we left with the new car that very evening. The combination of the good deal and the excellent test-drive experience sold us. Additionally, Christine respected our request to not be badgered with phone calls and whatnot. We asked to dialogue via e-mail, which is easier for us has the tendency to make things easier to follow. We appreciated the way that Christine did business. Very professional, outgoing and engaged. The following does not apply only to Marco. I know it applies to a majority of car dealers that I have had contact with. When I tell a car dealer that I am not going to make a decision today, they either act like they don't want to deal with me or that I don't need to wait. I understand they want to make a sale, but the decision is mine to make not theirs. Marco did a fairly good job of allowing me that option, but I needed to keep stating what I was and wasn't going to do. I felt that Marco handled my sale well and kept things moving. He asked me everything he needed to and helped me get the car settings done. I appreciated his professionalism. I didn't feel intimidated or put down. More

Very easy. I asked online for quotes and theirs were lowest. Other dealers wanted to play games, wanted me to promise to buy the car before they would quote price. Breakaway gave me best price, interest rate on them all and then I made my decision. I had researched prices beforehand and knew what was fair. Other dealer wouldn't even give prices without xx. I hate the games. At BreakAway it is very straight forward. Saleslady knew her stuff too, after the sale went the extra mile to show how to work all the bells and whistles. More
