I came to Fox looking for a 2013 Scion FR-S in an automatic transmission, which have apparently been selling very quickly. Talking to Christopher, he looked to see if they could somehow get to the de automatic transmission, which have apparently been selling very quickly. Talking to Christopher, he looked to see if they could somehow get to the dealership so I could test it, as well as possibly purchase it. After a week or two of hard work, Christopher was able to get the car to me, and the dealership let me drive it for almost a week as a test drive before I purchased it. They even gave me a Scion tC to drive while they installed my sound system in the car! Overall, I had a great experience with Fox Toyota/Scion and I love my new FR-S. Many thanks to Christopher! We have been watching the market for new and used Smart cars for about 2 years. When we were ready to make the purchase we made a spreadsheet comparing 19 cars we were watching from around the country. W cars for about 2 years. We live in Texas and used AutoTrader and Ebay to monitor cars from California to Florida. The 2013 Smart with 596 miles on it at Fox Toyota in Rochester Hills, MI, was an outstanding buy and if it was everything the ad said, we wanted that car. My husband contacted Mike Goltz who returned his call quickly and answered our questions. Mike even made sure we had his cell number which was amazing. We wanted to move fast because Smarts sell quickly. We had been working with a salesman at a Mercedes / Smart dealership in Texas who kept in touch with us monthly for about a year. He knew what we were looking for, yet sent us cars we wouldn't consider due to color, etc. We were seriously talking about buying a new one built to order from him but started to compare slightly used cars, too. When we were ready to move on the car in Michigan we left him several messages on Monday to give him the last chance for the sale. He didn't return our call until we had already returned to Texas with our new Smart on Friday. Even having been a commissioned saleswoman myself, I don't feel badly. Mike Goltz earned our business by returning our calls promptly and getting us fast and direct answers. He even made it clear he was available until 9 p.m., and as I mentioned, gave us his cell number so we could get him wherever he was. He even recommended hotels for us and made sure a driver was available to pick us up first thing in the morning even though we were about 45 minutes from the dealership. We booked plane tickets, had our insurance agent ready to issue a binder, got to Detroit and everything proceeded as Mike said it would. There were no surprises, which was greatly appreciated when we were that invested in the purchase before we'd even seen the car. The car was everything we hoped and more. We were out the door in about 90 minutes and are so happy with our new car. We drove 9 hours Wednesday and 12 hours Thursday to get home - about 1100 miles. The Smart was wonderful and even with that many hours of road time we were comfortable the whole way. Averaged about 34 miles per gallon. We discovered features the car had that we didn't expect and so we are happy that we got even more for our money than we hoped. It's not often you can say that about a new car purchase. To sum it up, we are very happy with our transaction with Fox Toyota Scion, and especially with Mike Goltz. He is an engaging young man, but even more importantly he was attentive, responsive, direct, prompt, straightforward, and very helpful. To find the situation was exactly what he said it would be was absolutely refreshing. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again in the future. You have an excellent employee and we are glad we did business with your company and with Mike. More
