Today I went in for an oil change on my 2023 GMC Terrian at the dealership I had purchased it from. Sim,ple biz this…… BUT While waiting for my car (has 11000 miles and was still 25% from needing the oil) I was emailed 3 needed jobs for my car. $42.26 Fuel system cleaner (GM doesn’t acknowledge a need for this cleaning) 39.95 Mass air flow sensor no indication for this on cars sensors Signal for this being needed is normally between 80,000 and 150,000 miles. 113.17 BG frigid fresh air filter. Car has 11K miles this is mostly highway miles. Also had tires rotated and air checked. I am not certain this was done as air pressure on the tires was 37,34,32 and 34 these were inflated differently or just not done. Dealerships are built on honesty and commitment to their customers. Beware at any FOX dealership as they are all owned by the same person. I was giver the above choices just before they told me the oil was done…… a scam is a scam. We have had a relationship with Buick GMC for over 16 years. My experience with my salesman was very good. Jim was thoughtful and added a hitch insert and roof rack that were not standard on the new En years. My experience with my salesman was very good. My previous dealing with Jim was 3 years ago when we leased an Enclave and the paperwork was flawless. We were in and out in an hour as Jim was able to have all paperwork there at closing. Fox Buick has additional people involved to initiate the same result but it took more than twice as long to complete the process. It should not take 2 and a half hours of paperwork and seeing different people just to return the lease and pick up the new car. More
