Fowler Toyota service center is a disaster and I wouldn't take my roller skates to this place for repair. A simple tire balance job turned into the service tech having to take my truck back into the shop for rework after it was initially finished because there was a major disconnect on what needed to be done. Then they tried to charge me double the amount I was initially quoted, stripped one of my socket head screws for my center cap, scratched and scuffed my wheels in numerous places and left the old sticky tire weight adhesive all over my wheels that I had to wash off myself. I was so disappointed in every aspect of my visit to this dealership I called back and spoke to the service drive manger. He asked me to send him a text of some pictures and a description of what had happened so he could review. I never heard back from him so I called a few days later to see what they were going to do to make things right. He told me that he was going to have the other service manager call me to discuss. Its been almost a week and I have still never heard a word from them and my truck still has vibration in the front tires. In short the whole experience was unprofessional, inadequate, unsatisfactory and a complete fail and I will never set foot in this place again. 05/06/21 - Update: The service manager at Fowler Toyota has reached out to me and has addressed the situation and apologized for the mishap. He was polite, honest and above all sincere about what had happened and I appreciate someone who will take on a difficult situation and handle it in a professional and responsible manner. Thanks Matt More
I dropped my Tacoma off on the 18th of March to get it worked on and picked it up on the 1st of April. Opened my center console to see that my $1200 handgun had been stolen out of my vehicle while in their possession. So either they left my truck unlocked while sitting outside or one of the employees stole it while it was in the garage. Either way, they had no interest in doing the right thing and covering the loss or at least paying the deductible for an insurance claim. They also informed me that multiple thefts had occurred in the last few days. So if you want a dealership that values your property or values doing what’s right when it’s tampered with while in their possession, DO NOT take your vehicle to Fowler Toyota. More

So I accepted this offer only to learn that there was a bait and switch. They told me that Toyota could not offer both. They switched us to First Fidelity and took away the 05 financing. The paperwork financing with Toyota had proceeded to the extent that there was now a lien on the car. It took two months to get the lien released even though it had never been finalized. On top of that, the extended warranty that was provided to me were tied to the Toyota lien and turned out to be invalid. I contacted Fowler and the financial officer located the valid warranty was tied to the First Financial contract. So we had been driving the car using an invalid warranty all the while. . More

Miguel reported that the shoes/drums in the rear were good, but that my discs were moderately worn and that my pads were getting thin. The work was done quickly and for a good price. Shortly after I left, it seemed that my braking was a little abnormal, and I sensed some rubbing noises. I thought that new pads were seating to the resurfaced discs, and took a 500 mile round trip to Texas the following Friday. After I returned to Tulsa Sunday night, the next day while running errands, There developed a loud grinding sound and a sort of clanking whenever I braked. A nice lady texted me to see if my brake job was satisfactory, just as I was experiencing the noises. I told her I needed to bring the truck back as I thought something brake-wise was amiss, and might fail soon. Miguel Reyes got the Technician Matthew Dechaine who did the brake job to re-examine my truck. Turns out that it was not the brakes, but that my rear U-Joint was literally on the verge of coming apart. I was told of the part cost, which was not cheap, but Matthew explained that I was covered on its' replacement on a warranty extension that I was unaware I had. A new U-Joint and drive shaft were located in Dallas, and I took a cab home. Three days later, the new U-Joint and other parts arrived, and were quickly installed. Now, my truck brakes as good as new, and no more odd noises. Everyone I had occasion to deal with at Fowler was kind, helpful and courteous. I have not had service work done at any dealership where people were so friendly. My overall experience has been so positive that I know I will go to Fowler any time I have a problem with my Tacoma. Fowler is a first class outfit with people of integrity at the helm who truly strive to provide the best service period. I heartily recommend Fowler for your Toyota service needs! My Tacoma is nearly 10 years old, and it is still going strong. Should I wish to buy a new one, I will go to Fowler first. For a while at least, getting a new one is unlikely, as I am hoping to get another 250,000 mile out my 2010 truck. So far, so good! Stephen S. Platt. Tulsa, Oklahoma. Toyota has excellent warranties on their vehicles. FYI, in the 9 years plus that I have had my Tacoma, it has never failed me. I was fortunate in having driven it straight to Fowler after the loud noises appeared three days ago. I may have been left stranded in a bad way, the U-Joint/drive shaft failure was so advanced. Thanks to everyone. I appreciate you all! SSP-Tulsa More

They ended up picking my car up from my workplace, did the brake job on the house, and brought my car back to me. Here's a timeline of my experience with fowler toyota: 2:00 - I pull in to get an oil change. Was told 45 minutes. 2:50 - I get a text message with my digital multipoint inspection and suggested services (one of which is my rear brake pads being changed out, which I approved). 3:15 - I call multiple numbers to try and get ahold of someone to find an estimate of when my car will be ready from getting brake pads changed out, was told another 45 minutes. Was told I'd be contacted through my cell number when my car would be ready. 4:50 - I call multiple numbers AGAIN to figure out my car is actually ready. 5:00 - I come back to Fowler to pick up my car, to find out THEY DID NOT DO THEIR JOBS AND CHANGE OUT MY BRAKE PADS. Another note: I was planning on bringing my girlfriend's car in for her oil change if my car was ready at 4, but since I had to call THEM at FIVE 30 minutes before they close, they lost that sale. It is ridiculous that a customer has to put up with these unprofessional, time-wasting, money-wasting blunders. More
