My husband & I arrived at Fowler Toyota on Saturday, 8-11-12 about 12:00. Justin Ratcliff came by and started showing us new & used Tacoma trucks. We test drove two vehicles, one used and one new. We liked the new one and wanted to talk about the cost. He brought out Jay, a Financial person, and we negotiated the price. We filled out pre-paper work and Justin turn them in and told us 'you're next in line'. (If I heard that statement once, I heard it a dozen times not only to us, but to other customers waiting) this was at 2:30. He told us it would be about 20-30 minutes. We waited until 4:00. We never saw or heard from Justin, so we paged him. He reported to us, 'you're next in line'. We waited again until 5:15, again not seeing or hearing from either Justin or Jay. So we paged them again. Jay came out and told us, 'you're next in line'. My husband asked how much longer? Jay responded 20-30 minutes. We told him, you have 30 minutes and we won't wait any longer than that. So at 6:00, we walked out, without a word from anyone and without a vehicle. We didn't hear from anyone all the rest of the evening, or Monday. So on Tuesday afternoon, I wanted to know if the General Manager, Jay Spears, knew what had happened to us on Saturday. I called him and he said yes he had heard and told me they were very frustrated about it. He never apologized, just stated his frustration. So I told him his customer service 'sucked' and that I couldn't understand why you leave a customer, ready to sign papers to buy a vehicle, waiting for 3 1/2 hours, and never check on them or tell them what was taking so long. I thanked him for his time and hung up. More

He took the time to go over the numbers several times until I was happy everything was in order. had vehicle service there after purchase every 5000 miles, on 15,000 mile change, they left the oil dipstick out, and i found it a week later laying on the engine. At the 30,000 mi oil change, had appt set up, took 4 hrs for that, requested synthetic, they put in regular, had to change it out again. Got home and noticed the a/c wasn't blowing air very hard, pulled the cabin air filter out and it was plugged full of dirt. Checked the repair order and it shows they checked it, but apparantly they never. Contacted service dept to complain about it, and they could care less. Paid $95 for a oil change when they didn't do there job, wonder what else they didn't check!!!! More

This Fowler dealership does poor service. I would not recommend going there! When they tell you something, it may not be the truth. IN OCTOBER OF 2010 I BOUGHT MY FOURTH VEHICLE FROM FOWLER TOYOTA...THE CONSIDERATION BY MANAGEMENT AND OWNER IS CLEARLY BROUGHT OUT BY ALL LEVELS OF THE STAFF... SALES PROFESSIONALS, THE SERVICE PEOPLE,THE TOYOTA...THE CONSIDERATION BY MANAGEMENT AND OWNER IS CLEARLY BROUGHT OUT BY ALL LEVELS OF THE STAFF... I have been a repeat customer for 6 years now and have always had a great experience. I take my cars there for all of my service as well. I must have visited a different Fowler Toyota dealership than the other people that have ranted and raved about them. In my dealings with Fowler Toyota of Norman, OK the finance and sales departments have than the other people that have ranted and raved about them. In my dealings with Fowler Toyota of Norman, OK the finance and sales departments have always been very helpful and straightforward. My most recent purchase included a 2011 Tacoma that was a pleasure to buy and has been a pleasure to drive. As far as finance department goes, John Crosby actually gave me .5% lower interest rate than was agreed upon with the salesperson. I would definitely recommend this dealership to other people that are interested in purchasing a vehicle. More
