If I could do zero stars I would. I call Fowler ford several times about my 2011 fiesta. Every time I spoke to the service department I ask if my car was under the extended warranty over the transmissio several times about my 2011 fiesta. Every time I spoke to the service department I ask if my car was under the extended warranty over the transmission. Each time they said yes, even after checking the VIN. They had it for 3 weeks, they finally text me, to say my bill is about $4000 that even fixed the recall in the transmission that they said would be free. They said my extended warranty had expired on June 8th. I have been paying for Uber to get to work, I'm a high school substitute teacher. $760 in uber plus $200 in tow. They knew it was past the extended warranty when they took it. In the text they sent me(not a phone call), all they could say was a misunderstanding in telling me that if the transmission problem was under the extended warranty. I'm a widow, Live alone, I'm not doing Christmas this year because I had to pay so much money in Uber, and towing and it was all for nothing. I have contacted the Ford company to complain about Fowler and the local news channels to tell them how they tried to scam a widow. More
Ben in the service department was really helpful getting our vehicle in and getting it diagnosed. Communication was perfect throughout the whole process. our vehicle in and getting it diagnosed. Communication was perfect throughout the whole process. More
I made an appointment for a recall on my 2018 ford explorer and get the oil changed and tires rotated while it was there. They said drop it off at 8:00am and it would take 4-5 hours. I went back at 2: explorer and get the oil changed and tires rotated while it was there. They said drop it off at 8:00am and it would take 4-5 hours. I went back at 2:00pm, it was still in the shop and they informed me they would not be able to do the recall work unless I left it there until 5:00pm or over night. The purpose of the visit was for the “recall” and I made an appointment but they said, do to being short handed they couldn't even look at it to see if they needed to order any part. Did I mention I made an appointment for “recall” work? Well, if this is what they call service I should probably check the lug nuts after my tire rotation or did they even get that complete. If you don't have the people to complete the work don't make the appointment and if this is what you call acceptable service, I will not be doing any business at Fowler Ford. More
Communication was terrible! I was not told there would be no loaner vehicle and I live approximately 30 miles away. Truck was supposed to be ready on Friday but no one contacted me to let me know it wouldn’t no loaner vehicle and I live approximately 30 miles away. Truck was supposed to be ready on Friday but no one contacted me to let me know it wouldn’t be ready. Received a call on the next Wednesday that it was ready only to get there and find out they forgot to check one of the things I brought it in for. If this weren’t warranty work I wouldn’t use them again. More
My second bad experience here. I am done. The first one was brought to the attention of the GM and service manager who happen to be in the room at the time. I got over it. This time, grease all over the fl was brought to the attention of the GM and service manager who happen to be in the room at the time. I got over it. This time, grease all over the floor mats, interior door pull and steering wheel. Not a minor mess, pretty bad. Service advisor even said my interior was like a new truck. Poor service advisor did his best to vacuum the floor mats, even though I told him it was grease and that would not work. I had to go scrub at the car wash. THEN I found a good scratch on the truck when I got home. I had just waxed it, know every little scratch and its either in my garage or away from others at my office. Cannot prove it came from this visit. NO but after all this I would say good chance because of the carelessness. This is uncalled for. After my first visit there a couple of days later I notices my sway bar end links were rusted off. How did the tech not notice this when he had it in the air. Good looking out Fowler. More
I took my 2019 Ford Expedition to the dealer for AC service. It wasn't cooling and it's 100° in Oklahoma. After waiting 12 days for them to look at it, I'm told it's working fine and the technician ca service. It wasn't cooling and it's 100° in Oklahoma. After waiting 12 days for them to look at it, I'm told it's working fine and the technician can't find anything wrong with it. I go to pick up my car and turn on the air as I'm leaving, in 98° heat, and the air is hotter than the Temps outside. I call and ask if they are sure they looked at it and I'm told it was absolutely looked at by their technician. The next day I took it to a tire shop that also does some car repairs. Within 15 minutes they tell me it needs freon but the type is different from what they use because it's a newer type of freon and I should take it to the dealer as they would have that type. After telling them about the terrible service at Fowler Ford they called around and found another shop to take my vehicle to for service. I will say, Cody at Fowler Ford was polite and professional and had he been a technician I'm sure he would have found the problem That's not his area of expertise. More
