Work was incomplete and service department is not responsive I have had my 1500 Silverado serviced at Century a couple of times and this last time it was a very different experience. After I had my engine comple I have had my 1500 Silverado serviced at Century a couple of times and this last time it was a very different experience. After I had my engine completely torn apart and put back together again. About 2 weeks later my check engine light came back on. I took it over to Century Chevrolet again and they looked at it and determined that it was the Oil Pressure Sensor and mesh gate that was causing the error code. Also, after looking at my truck noticed that the seals were leaking on my transmission and the cool line needed to be replaced along with my rear brakes. I had no reason to not believe them so I agreed to the work. After 5 days without my truck I went to pick it up and they said everything was working properly and I paid them $2246 and change and went on my way. After driving my truck less than 5 miles the check engine light came back on and I was frustrated. I called Cody and he told me to bring it back in. They checked the code again and it was the same code. I waited for about 20 mins and then gave me back my truck stating that it was a plug that was connected properly, which wasn't true, I'll get to that later. I drove it home and went to apply the parking brake and when I engaged it the pedal went straight to the floor. I drove all that way with no emergency break. If I need to use it, it would have been to late and I could have injured myself or any passenger in the truck or worse. Now back to the false statement that it was a plug that was disconnected. I drove my daughter to school the next morning > 8 miles away from my house and the check engine light came back on. I called the service department and no one answered and I got Lindsey and she said that she would deliver my message and that once someone freed up that they would give me a call. No one called me for the next 30 -45 mins. I just drove to the dealership and when I pulled up only one person had someone at their kiosk. I still hadn't received a call. I kept my cool and told the service tech about what was going on with my truck. They took it back and said that they would let me know what was going on. I waited for 2.5 hours waiting for my truck to be completed with no update. I walked back out to the service center and spoke with the tech that took my truck and he went and checked on the status. He came back stating that the reason the parking brake didn't engage properly was because the drums weren't machined properly which is FALSE. The pedal wouldn't drop to the floor without any resistance because of this. So this is strike two for inaccurate information. I then told them that I had to get to work and they provided me with a rental, which they covered. After letting them keep my car for another 6 days they determined that the reason for the check engine light was because of the oil filter that they put on when they rebuilt my engine! They performed an oil change and put in an additive to help with the wear of the oil. Which they forgot to reset the oil life tracker, which should be done on every oil change, again something that should have been done! This was the dealership's fault and said that the part needed to be replaced when they can't prove that other than the code being fired. If they would have done an oil change would this issue have been resolved with out the $500 oil pressure sensor change? By this time I cannot believe them. This is their 3rd strike and I am fed up. Since this service has happened GM reached out because of a survey and I gave them this account of what happened. They stated that they have attempted to get someone on the phone approximately 5-7 times and they haven't been successful. You have to be in front of them to get a response. They give inaccurate accounts for reasons why something is broken and replace parts that might not need to get replaced. If something else goes wrong with your car they won't respond unless you go back to the dealership and confront them about it. I bet that I don't hear from them because this is negative feedback and don't want to have to face this head on. I don't think that part should have been replaced. They should have looked at the manufacture notes on the oil pressure sensor code and changed the oil again and put a new filter on. I hope that they make restitution More

To busy for me I scheduled an appointment to get an oil change and have an engine code and exhaust leak noise checked. When I got to the dealership I was told that they are "too busy" to inspect the engine code and exhaust leak noise and I would have to reschedule. But they weren't to busy to upsell me on a rear alignment and perform that work. I told them what the engine code was and that I looked it up and GM issued a warranty extension for that part because it is a known issue but was told I would have to reschedule another appointment to have them look at it. I already took time off of work and let them know what I needed done when I set the appointment but then was brushed off by the service advisor because they were "really busy" that day. I asked him isnt that why I scheduled an appointment. Why would you overbook yourself and not take care of the customers that were already scheduled. (My appointment was at 930 am) so they weren't running behind from jobs earlier in the day. I'm very dissatisfied and will be going to a different dealership from now on for my service needs. More
Always a pleasure I absolutely refuse to take my car anywhere else. The service advisors are the best around. I call, drop in or schedule on line and I’m taken care of. From oil change/tire rotation to dead battery to recalls. The work completed is always priced fairly, done in a timely manner and only what needs to be done. I’ve never been pushed to have more done.
