Made an appointment and took the car in for 5 items: oil change, tire rotation, annual state safety inspection, and warranty repair of two starting problems: (1) Remote start didn't work when ambient tempe change, tire rotation, annual state safety inspection, and warranty repair of two starting problems: (1) Remote start didn't work when ambient temperature got down to single digits, and (2) the auto stop/start function stopped working months ago. The first three items were accomplished. Neither of the starting issues were resolved. I was not satisfied with the explanations given: (1) the remote start failure was due to me not driving the car enough and the battery was weak. The "fix" was for me to drive the car more often. (2) For the auto stop/start function to work "everything has to be just perfect." I didn't buy it. My cynical self thinks that as soon as the warranty expires on 27 Feb a very expensive fix will be found for both problems However, I was told that I had to replace the brake fluid (on a 3 year old car with 9000 miles) because the fluid was "a little bit dirty," though no satisfactory explanation was given of how/why the fluid got dirty. And, that cost me $150. This is the third new Jeep I've bought from Four Stars and I've had my maintenance done there for 12 years. This is the first time I have been dissatisfied with the service (or more precisely, lack of service) and explanations provided. More
