I had the best experience with Vincent at Fountain Acura! Out of all the years of buying new vehicles this was by far the most memorable and phenomenal. I've had 3 Acura cars because of the reliability and great service that typically comes with Acura, and this was by far the worst experience and dealership I've ever had the displeasure of going to for great service that typically comes with Acura, and this was by far the worst experience and dealership I've ever had the displeasure of going to for service. I only went to this Acura Dealership because I'm in the military and my car was shipped from overseas to the Orlando Vehicle Processing Center close by. While the vehicle was being inspected, the sunroof got stuck, and the agents Googled the closest dealership and passed on the address for me to get assistance. The service agent, Jose, told me he would run a diagnostic on the car to identify the issue. After 3 hours of waiting, he told me he didn't know what the issue was because I needed to leave the vehicle for further checks, but knowing I was from out of town and had to go, he'll only charge me $189 for a diagnostic fee. He said they typically charge $170/per hour for labor so he's doing me a favor by just charging me the diagnostic fee. I called my father to update him and he told me to ask why they ran a diagnostic on the sunroof? He said why would any mechanic run a diagnostic on a sunroof? They just needed to test the motor and that doesn't even take 3 hours. Jose told him about the $170/per hour labor fee and my dad replied, "So are they ripping off American Soldiers or just women at that dealership?" He forgot to tell my dad that during those 3 hours he also went on a lunch break and I had to wait for him to return because only he could "close out" my service contract since he created it. I ended up paying a total of $244.55 for them to MANUALLY close the sunroof because according to Jose, it was difficult to get to the sunroof motor and the $55.55 was just taxes. Thanks for welcoming me back to the USA with awful customer service. Oh, yeah! I still need to get the sunroof fixed. I gave them a bad Google review and 2 days later the manager called me ONLY BECAUSE OF THE BAD GOOGLE REVIEW and he extremely defensive and rude. I told him he was coming off as defensive because he was getting loud and wasn't really listening to me and he was making the situation worse. He said that was my opinion. Before he hung up on me, he pretty much told me he had a dedicated Google reviews team as if to insinuate they'd get my bad review down, and then he said I could make another bad Google review about our phone call. I feel sorry for Acura. They're doing a horrible job representing the brand- maybe it's on purpose. More
