Took jeep in for recall and was told they would call as soon as the part came in. I was told the part should be here within the week and it would take about 10 minutes to put it on. It has now been 3 weeks soon as the part came in. I was told the part should be here within the week and it would take about 10 minutes to put it on. It has now been 3 weeks and have yet to receive a call. I called Foundation a week after the part was ordered and was very rudely told that if I hadn’t received a call, that means the part wasn’t in. Then proceeded to tell me that if I couldn’t give him the VIN number, right then as we were on the phone, he couldn’t tell me anything about the part because and I quote, “we have a lot of jeeps out here”. I will NOT be returning with my vehicle to that dealership again. I will drive 20 miles to Henrietta to the jeep dealership. This is unfortunate because the first time we took our new Jeep for the oil change, despite the bad reputation Foundation has, we received excellent service. More
Wanted to Charge me about $1600 for a repair that I did myself for $70. I asked for the detailed results from the diagnostic (that I paid for) and only got that the whole center stack needed replaced (to myself for $70. I asked for the detailed results from the diagnostic (that I paid for) and only got that the whole center stack needed replaced (to repair non-working climate control). I wanted the detailed diagnostic so I could determine which part of the center stack was bad. I suspected it was the AC/Heater Module. I was told by the service advisor that they would ask the service technician who completed the diagnostic to contact me and give me the details. They never did. I went with my gut and ordered a used AC/Heater module and replaced it myself in about 30 minutes. I worked perfectly. Since it came out of the same year and model of car that I have, it didn't require programming. I could have gotten a new module for about $160, but might have had to get it programmed, so went with the cheaper option instead. So instead of paying $1600, I paid $99 for the diagnostic, which told me nothing, $70 for the part, and 30 minutes of my time. If you wanted me to come back and purchase a car from you in the future, you sure didn't show it with this service visit. Your service technician should have attempted to work with me, like explaining that the part was discontinued, which is why they said the whole stack had to be replaced. Then offered to try and find the part from an alternate source to make my repair more affordable, instead of just giving me the most expensive option and making it sound like the only option. More
Received text at 1:10 p. m. from Nicole (who is great by the way) that my truck was ready for pickup. Invoice was not ready but would be soon. I arrived at 1:15 to service cen m. from Nicole (who is great by the way) that my truck was ready for pickup. Invoice was not ready but would be soon. I arrived at 1:15 to service center. The other girl there, (not Nicole) said to go to waiting room. at 2:05 Jarroll Willet ask me why I was still here. I told him they did not go get my truck from service. He immediately went to Service desk and Service Manager came to waiting with invoice. He was clearly mad and was very rude to. I signed invoice and he left with no word about my truck. Jarroll personally went and got my truck and came back to waiting to ask why i didn't come outside to truck. I told him Service Manager never said a word about my truck. being ready. this all stems from the fact they had me bring truck in week before for service. i told them on phone it was 130 miles round trip 260 miles for me to leave it and come back to office. I left truck, drove 130 miles that morning, only to get to my office for them to call and say part not there. Another 130 mils back to get it and back to office.260 miles one day after i explained to them be sure parts are there before i arrive. So, it was 2 days lost work, 390 miles of travel for their mistakes. It looks like to me Serice Manager (not Nicole who was great to me) was gonna show me by god he run that show and he did. Oh, by the way i only bought 4 high end units off of you in one year. I'm about to trade again but not sure you guys meet the test More
The updates from Nathaniel and Kristi were fantastic! We never once wondered what the status of our vehicle was. Overall, probably the best experience we've ever had with a dealership service department We never once wondered what the status of our vehicle was.
