Whether you are in the showroom or the service department, the high-pressure upsell is still there. Trying to buy a new vehichle, there are $10K of add-ons before you can say no. O.K., LONG story, but basically, WE LOVE MEDVED!! We rented a Camaro while on vacation this summer and loved it so much, that when we got home, we decided we wanted to buy one. I had seen one that Medved (Castle Rock) had on-line and was speaking to a salesman while my husband was speaking to a competitor. I guess since this site is about rating dealers, I will say that the competitor was Go Chevy in Denver. I work for a company that gets a supplier discount for GM. I had been speaking to the sales staff at Medved about my discount, and they were very gracious and helpful, and explained a couple of other discounts we may be eligible for. In the meantime, my husband had been speaking to a sales person at Go Chevy. The sales person at Go had told my husband he had located a vehicle that met our list of "wants", it was headed into Denver, but it belonged to another dealer. He said he could get it if we were interested. While I was waiting for a call back from Medved, I called the salesperson at Go Chevy back to inquire about the price of the vehicle he had located, and about the GM discount, etc. He was very evasive, didn't know if he could actually get the vehicle because it would have to be a dealer trade, wouldn't give me a bottom-line dollar amount and said that he didn't have to give me the GM supplier discount, and that it was riduculous for me to expect them to give any type of discount on a Camaro ("It is unheard of for us to give a discount on the Camaro. It's a very popular vehicle. I guess I could ask my sales manager, but we have never given one before, and I seriously doubt we would even consider it.") He was so incredibly rude, that I wouldn't have purchased that car from him if it were the last Camaro for sale in the United States! Nor will we ever be purchasing a vehicle from that dealership!!!! But, Medved was FABULOUS! When the Medved salesman called me back, I told him about the vehicle that was supposed to be headed into Denver and asked if they could possibly locate it so we could purchase it from them. The salesman looked it up, and called me back within just a couple of minutes. As luck would have it, the vehicle that was inbound to Denver (my perfect, everything on it, dream car) belonged to Medved! The salesman explained that it would be here in a few days, and they would get it ready if we were interested. They actually had it ready for us the same day that it was delivered to them. It was perfect!!! We made the drive down to Castle Rock, where everyone there treated us fabulously. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us an amazing price on the car, plus my discount, and a decent price on our trade-in. They were willing to work with us, and treated us very well. It was refreshing to be treated like people instead of just another business transaction. Everyone there went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Dealing with Medved's staff was like dealing with friends. We will definitely buy from Medved again, and will send our friends and family there too!! More
My husband recently purchased a 2010 Camaro for me. We had searched all over Colorado Springs and could not find a good deal on one. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had, we can not say enough good things about how the people treated us while we were there. We worked out a great deal, and they treated my husband like he was royalty. It was awesome. He did end up buying my new Camaro from there. They went above and beyond to get him and myself exactly what we wanted. When we buy another car, we will be doing it there. I ended up getting a scratch on the car, and I called Kim when it happened. She worked miracles to get me back up to Medved so they could fix the scratch. It looks like it did when I got it. The workmen ship and service there are just amazing. I loved it. Kim is an absolute joy to work with and I am so happy that we got to meet and be around her. If you are ever in the Castle Rock area looking for a car, talk to Kim. She is the one to work with. We love Medved!!!! More

In the 22 years that we have been purchasing cars, I have never been treated like we were at MED MEDVED AUTOPLEX – The BEST we have ever experienced! In the 22 years that we have been purchasing cars, I have never been treated like we were at MEDVED. We owned 2 used cars, each about $4000 or more owed, and each needing in excess of $1500 of work done on it, while they both had over 100,000 miles. Starting with the wonderful sales staff – Jesse Gonzales, Billie McMillan, Iggy Neuschaefer – we were treated to about 4-5 hours of looking at cars, driving them, working out how they could get us out of both of these used cars and into cars that would be reliable, over a period of 3 days. Along with the Finance Managers Steve Powell and “Johnny” Medved, Jr. they were able to eventually figure out a way to get BOTH of these cars rolled into 2 separate deals. And, both of these included the purchase of a NEW car that had a warranty lasting nearly as long as the payments. The most amazing part is that this was done with us having credit that is much less than perfect. No other dealership was even able to come close, and we visited 4 others. One of them told us we would have to put down $6-7,000 for a single car (Our down was much less than ½ this for each car), and had the audacity to make us sit without being talked to for 45 minutes – then had the salesman tell us 2 days later that this was done as the order of a manager, but he had been told to keep working with us this time. We obviously left. Another 2 dealers could get us into cars, but couldn’t roll the old cars into the deal. We would have had to “Turn them in” and had repos on our credit. The fourth dealership simply had no ability to work with us. MEDVED has earned a very loyal couple for life. And we have already told over 10 people how well we were treated, and how they were able to work with us. We will recommend MEDVED to anyone. To top it off, owner Mr. Medved, Sr. came to talk to us personally. A first for us. More
These guys were the best. I've read some bad reviews but have no idea what these people are talking about. My experience at Medved was incredible. I drove up from the Springs because Al Serra wouldn't give the time of day. Steve and Bill at Medved acted like they wanted my business and I appreciated it. and when they didn't have the color I wanted they sat got on the phone and found it. That's customer service. Now I've got a new Camaro- I didn't pay a lot so my wife isn't pissed off -- and baby it's HOT! More

I will do what ever it takes to let people know that Mr. Medved only cares about 1 thing.....himself! Tom made everything sound so good....."we will work with you, don't worry. We care about you and want you to be satisfied." The paper work even states (of course I didn't see the small print until it was to late) it does not matter what the sales person says unless you get it in writing. Do yourself a big favor and shop elsewhere, you will be glad you did. More
This was a buyer's nightmare. I negotiated a price and drove 125 miles to finalize the purchase, only to have my salesman switched. The finance manager was very nice, as was the gentleman that "delivered" the car from detailing for me. However, the fact that I was lied to has angered me so much that I have negotiated accessory purchases from another Suzuki dealer in Colorado. If you're looking at buying a vehicle, look somewhere other than Medved! More
Beware when dealing with Medved. I was warned by a co-worker who had bought from Medved Chevy of some alleged dishonesty, but I didn't witness it. Medved Chrysler brought a T&C in from a neighboring s co-worker who had bought from Medved Chevy of some alleged dishonesty, but I didn't witness it. Medved Chrysler brought a T&C in from a neighboring state for us to look at and drive, and wrote on the offer "no additional for shipping and handling." In the end we didn't buy, and Medved charged us $800 on a credit card for delivery. I have reported it to my credit card company's fraud division and refused to pay for a chanreg that was never mentioned. This was clearly dishonest and no one from Medved would call back to discuss and remove the charge. More
