The check engine light on my truck was on. Tony was very knowledgeable of the problem and kept me updated on the progress. Gary did a great job fixing my truck and got it back to me quickly. DO NOT – I REPEAT – DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT! I called in to make an appointment for my ’04 F150. I was asked, will you be waiting with car or dropping it off & coming back SERVICE DEPARTMENT! I called in to make an appointment for my ’04 F150. I was asked, will you be waiting with car or dropping it off & coming back for it later. Not sure why that would matter, but I said “whatever gets me in the fastest & can get the truck fixed, I can be flexible!” I was told to drop my truck off at noon on Monday for my appointment & they would work on it then & call me to come pick it back up. I asked if I could bring it up the night before and drop the key, since I was not waiting with it & they said “we do not have a lock box to do key drop” I then asked “can I bring the truck up when you open and drop my keys on my way to work” and was told yes. Monday, I drive up and drop off the truck keys and am told its $160 just to look at each issue (I had 2 issues I wanted investigated) – fine, I had asked on the phone about this and was told $100 but I am not going to argue, I need the truck fixed. I waited from noon until 5pm to get a call and finally got a call, before Ford closed “HI we did not get to your truck today, we will get it pulled in and looked at first thing tomorrow morning, do you want to come pick it up and bring it back or leave it here”. Whatever, I think, ill get it back before noon tomorrow & the truck will be fixed, I am first on the list! Yay, slight inconvenience. WRONG. I called that at 12:20 PM asking for an update, and no one in service was free, & I was told I would be called soon. I then called & 12:40 and asked “Please tell me if work has started on the truck, I do not want you working on the truck I NEED it NOW” again, the person on the phone was unable to get anyone in service to pick up & took another message for them to call me back. I arranged a ride for myself to get to the Ford Dealership, since no one is free to talk on the phone and I was going to take my truck. As I am pulling in, they called me and emailed me my invoice. Crazy how that finally happened after I said “do not work on the truck”, this is 1:30 PM at this point. I walked in and asked how long it will take to fix the laundry list of items they sent me & was told 1 needed 5 days for the part to come in & the other 3more hours. I took the truck and was forced to pay the $300 bill for them to look over the truck. I will never be going back & am still waiting on the Service Manager to call me back, it has been over 24 hours and I have left 2 messages for them More
Purchased new F150 4/2021. Came in for service of rain guard that came detached on 7/29/21. Was told had to order this part, which I understood. Called various time from 7/29/21 through 12/16/21.
