Brought Jeep in to the service dept. on 04/01/21 to have an oil change, tire rotation and Texas State Vehicle inspection. They charged me but forgot to do the inspection. Came back on 05/07/21 to have inspe an oil change, tire rotation and Texas State Vehicle inspection. They charged me but forgot to do the inspection. Came back on 05/07/21 to have inspection done and had a squeak in front end of Jeep. Was told ball joints needed to be replaced on drivers side front of Jeep. My extended warranty that I purchased at time of purchase of vehicle states that if my vehicle is in the shop for more than 24 hours, I would get a loaner vehicle. They didn't have loaner available and was planning on going out of town that weekend. So, they said I could drive my Jeep home for the weekend and to bring back on Monday. Did some research on the internet when I got home and it says if is really dangerous to drive a vehicle with bad ball joints, so I didn't drive my Jeep all weekend and drove back to Service Dept. on Monday. Still no loaner available. Had to have friend come and pick me up and take me home and I didn't have a vehicle to drive till Wednesday Afternoon. Two and a half days with no vehicle. When I went to pick up my vehicle on Wednesday afternoon, I asked about the vehicle inspection and they forgot to do it again. Had to wait a little longer for them to complete the inspection. I did not purchase my Jeep from Forest Lane Jeep, but I was having problems with the dealership where I bought it and one day I was at Dallas Off Road and the guys there told me to go to Forest Lane Jeep and they have the best service department in North Texas. So I went for an oil change in October 2020 and met with Jesse and he was really nice, took me on a tour of the Service Department and when I returned to pick up my Jeep he had it run through the car wash and it was the best Service I've had at a dealership, ever! I will still return to this dealership for service, maybe the techs had a bad week. The Service Advisor, Linda was great, but the techs had to pickup parts 3 times to get the correct parts needed to repair my Jeep. Everything I seen on the internet says it takes about 6 hours to replace both sets of ball joints on a Jeep, and they only did one side. Not 2 1/2 days. I was kind of mad because I didn't have a vehicle for a total of 5 days. More

Online scheduling was a breeze and when I arrived, everyone was sooooo friendly. After checking out out the other area dealerships to maintain my "new to me" Jeep, I think I have found a home. Both dealership and service departments have continually gone above and beyond great Customer Service. I found them because I kept getting a bait and switch tactic at another dealer/service department in an gone above and beyond great Customer Service. I found them because I kept getting a bait and switch tactic at another dealer/service department in another location. Oil changes and some light repairs were done on my previous 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan at Forest Lane location. When I thought about replacing that vehicle, I went over to the dealership Sales Dept and wasn't disappointed. I purchased a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan and drove out within a few hours. I had told them my maximum amount I'd be willing to spend and while it took some effort, they kept that and the monthly payment where I needed it to be. When I squawked about not having an emergency tire, they smiled and made sure I got the whole tire kit. I was surprised and quite pleased at how far they went to help me. Following that, I went to the service department because I was told by a tire dealer that the frame holding the spare tire underneath the console was missing. The Service Department took a look, then explained the situation (Dodge is no longer providing spare tires and brackets). I was surprised at the Dodge Corporation, and your representative took time out giving me suggestions on how to store the spare tire. I am delighted with the service department as they saved me many unnecessary expenses, and the dealership, especially Summer, my sales rep, for all the extra effort they went through to see I was satisfied. Kudos to Jesse in the Service Department and all the employees who went to great pains to help me every time I go in. More
I am not at all happy with how a SMALL, & EASY request for help with head light bulb check was handled. Replaced drivers side head lamp approx.3wks. ago-same new light went out. On 5/6/21 returned to have for help with head light bulb check was handled. Replaced drivers side head lamp approx.3wks. ago-same new light went out. On 5/6/21 returned to have it looked at or replaced and was told I would be required to pay for diagnostic due to fact it failed so soon after replacement. I reminded manager that they had last touched area for repair & instead of assuming it was not their error or bulb failure they wanted me to pay for diagnosis and leave vehicle at dealer..I was reminded by manager that there was no warranty for bulb or labor. Truck is 14yrs. old w/129k and it was only third bulb in all those years. God forbid that someone had said " you know, let us pop the hood or look at it to see if maybe it is loose bulb or something ". It was automatically assumed I had an electrical issue and they wanted me to pay for diagnosis for what turned out to be a loose bulb!!! I declined & left stating that I would never return. Drove to Samstone in Addison on way home-they had inspected vehicle last--TURNED OUT TO BE A LOOSE BULB--FIXED IN SECONDS W/O CHARGE!!!THANKS FOR ALL THE CARE AND CONCERN. More
