F250 Diesel Repair I have utilized Ford of Port Richey for the last 4 years as the sole service repair shop for my '08 Ford Diesel Truck. Chuck in the service departmen I have utilized Ford of Port Richey for the last 4 years as the sole service repair shop for my '08 Ford Diesel Truck. Chuck in the service department has always works on my truck and I am very confident in his abilities and I trust his judgement and insight on my truck repairs. Frank is my new service tech advisor and Frank communicated with me very well during the service and confusion of service on my truck. I will continue to have my truck seon coded by Ford of Port Richey and I recommend it to people I know with Ford diesels. More
Good but expensive Steve was great Price was high , Charge for getting into the trunk was 1.5 hours when there was a key in the remote that manually opens the trunk. To say it was disorganized would be a compliment After having a pretty decent purchase experience at Ford of Port Richey, I stopped in to make an appointment to have the A/C looked at, as it just wou After having a pretty decent purchase experience at Ford of Port Richey, I stopped in to make an appointment to have the A/C looked at, as it just would not keep up with the stifling Florida heat. Instead of making the appointment, the service writer immediately put me in touch with the service manager, who had a tech come out and test the air temp at the vent. The temperature was well within the appropriate range, so the manager said there was not much else he could do, as the fan operated at all speeds and the temp was right. I suggested that maybe something had gotten into the fan, as the air just didn't blow very hard, even though we could clearly hear the fan at high speed. He said "no", and just said that it was very hot here in Florida, basically that the current level of cooling was all I should expect. I went home, did some simple YouTube searches, and found a filter that was COMPLETELY clogged in the A/C system. So much for the "Certified" used car myth. When I called to let the service manager know, he never came to the phone, so I hung up after 10 minutes or so. My only other experience with the service center was when I used my *free* oil change given to car purchasers to introduce us to the service department. My oil change, which I was told I could wait for, took over 3 hours. When they finally called me, first they argued with me about the cost, despite this being discussed ahead of time, then they put me into the wrong vehicle...one that looked exactly like mine...but the wrong one nonetheless. I complained, and they asked me for a "redo" as they were changing management in the service dept. I agreed... My third and last experience with Ford of Port Richey's service department was when i went back for my second attempt at my free introductory oil change. I was assured that it would be completed within 30 minutes, probably less. They also asked if I would like to purchase a new air filter, which I said yes to. Over two hours later, my car was delivered to me with fresh oil...and a dirty air filter. Needless to say, I WILL NOT be back. More
