Never even made it there Website had an after-discount price listed. Called to find out the restrictions on the discounts and was told the website was having pricing errors an Website had an after-discount price listed. Called to find out the restrictions on the discounts and was told the website was having pricing errors and that with all discounts, the vehicle would be over $4000 more than what the website presented. Person I spoke to on the phone said that there had been pricing issues with the site all day. Sounds like a scam to me. We were on our way there and turned around immediately. Just an idea - assuming this was a real issue - if you know your prices online are off by THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS - take your site down for maintenance while you address the problem. It's been several hours and the same vehicle is still listed at the "wrong" price online. As it stands, the dealership's lack of action seems to present that they are quite all right with misleading consumers to get them into the dealership and then jacking up the price when they arrive. Told me the battery needed servicing which I declined, after inspection I found they left the battery protective cover dangling. Did not secure engine under cover properly which fell loose several days later while driving and could have caused serious damage. The special $18.95 service ending up costing over $33.00. This the sloppiest service I have experienced with a Ford dealer.. More

Before we got to dealer we phoned in to let them Know what was happening and that the family did not approve of this purchase. He isn't even allowed to drive! They sold him the car anyway! We were within 15 min of getting to him and they wouldn't allow us to speak my father on the phone. They gave us the run around until the deal was done and they left and it was too late!!! They are total unprofessional snake oil salesman that should be charged with elderly abuse! DO NOT GO THERE! More

A couple months went by, and it was time. I called and set up an appointment, and showed up at my appointed time. 3 hours went by, with me sitting in the lobby, so i started asking questions. apparently, they were flustered, as they said my vehicle was done and pointed to it. i went through the side doors, got in...but whataya know...it wasn't my car, just a look-alike! about 10 minutes later, I was motoring down the road,in my own car, having decided that this would be my one and only visit to the service department at Port Richey Ford. I was called for a survey, and was very truthful about my disdain with the whole process. A manager got on the phone, gave me lots of reasons why my experience had been so bad, promised to do better in the future, and once again offered a free deluxe oil change to get me back in the door, so I agreed to give it another shot. Fast forward a few months, and I once again showed up at my appointed time, with the understanding that I would once again wait in the lobby. About an hour later, the service writer came out and told me that the air filter needed replacing; I consented to it's being replaced, and the associated costs (i think it was $29.95). A little better than an hour further down the line, I was once again getting very anxious, so I started asking about my car. I was told that they were just finishing it up, that the deluxe oil change took longer, as they had more things to check, top off, etc. Finally my car was complete, so the young lady took me to the cashier to pay for the filter change and to check out. Suddenly, the cashier was handing me my copies and my keys, thanking me, and sending me on my way. I was a bit dumbfounded, but figured that maybe the dealership had chosen to NOT charge me for the air filter change, considering my previous experience. When I arrived home, I took the receipt papers out to file them where i keep such things, and, while perusing the bill, i see that the service writer (i assume it was her) had noted that the air filter needed replacing, but that I had refused the work. (which was NOT the case-and there could have been no misunderstanding, as it was very clear-cut what i wanted.) I went out to the driveway, popped the hood, and started looking over the engine compartment to try to determine whether or not the filter had been replaced. I never even figured that out. The ABSOLUTE lack of give-a-xxxx was apparent from the minute i opened the hood. the engine oil refill cap was not where it belonged...instead, it was wrapped in a towel of some sort, laying toward the back of the engine. The battery's positive terminal, despite my just having purchased this vehicle a few months prior, was so badly crusted with battery acid/corrosion, that i am amazed the vehicle would start. I can get half-assed, shoddy work anywhere up and down any highway in my town to go with an oil change for less than $20. I opted for the dealership where I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE, thinking that maybe, just maybe, they would be interested in continuing to earn my business. apparently, I was wrong. I suggest that folks just keep driving past this place. More
