Don't go here for service. Scheduled a service appointment for an oil change and showed up on time, then told it's going to be at least an hour to get it started. xxx! No, geez I'm on my lunch. "we've had call outs and drop ins I'm told. had to reschedule a week and a half out. Staff not friendly, several standing around. I really appreciated the sales guy when I bought the truck last year, but the service department is lousy. Stay away. They should call and let you know they are short staffed and running behind, and get you in before drop ins. I guess once you buy a vehicle there they don't give a F*** about your time. More

The service reps are rude as xxxx and management are oblivious and don't seem to care. For example. I actually had the service manager, Mike Gay, say to me (after I had to bring the truck back a second time because the night I picked it up and before I even got home, all of the same warning lights were illuminated! Again! So I called the next day. A Saturday. I asked for the service manager because I refused to deal with this Liz person again. I spoke to an assistant manager who told me that the service manager wasn't in. I called back on Monday. The service manager (Mike Gay) told me, that it was the prior mechanics that screwed up and that they, Ford, couldn't figure out what they, the prior mechanics, had done wrong. Then he says that if I had brought it to them first they could have done the repairs without any issues? xxx? Their own mechanics apparently can't even fix their own damned vehicles! Read this before you even call Ford of Northampton, To begin. I got recall notice from Marcotte Ford about a recall. I was also having issues with my turbochargers and brakes which I had done at another shop. Initially, I called Ford and spoke to Liz about what I needed. She called back a day later with a quote 0f $4749 and change. The quote was for a new master brake cylinder, repair one turbocharger and replace the other entirely. Plus all of their "diagnostic and shop fees". I gave my approval and dropped off my truck as scheduled. I even printed out a list that specifically detailed the issues I wanted fixed and gave that list to Liz when I dropped of my truck. I go a few days without hearing anything. So I call Liz again to see whats what. She tells me they are still awaiting some parts. I call three days later to find out when I could expect to pick up the truck. I was told the truck was ready. This is when I was told that the cost was and not the $4947 I had approved. Nothing in that quote mentioned the exhaust manifold. When I screamed about not having been called about this additional charge, and about not having approved of this additional expense, Liz replied " well, we can always take it out". xxx? NEVER AGAIN! I am livid! I'm still waiting for my truck! Had to bring it back a third time third while they attempted to fix the issue. One more caution about Northampton Ford. Read revues from any other site than the Ford website. you'll see the whole picture. I have been lied to, charged for work I did not approve, and ballistically, if I did not pay he increased, unapproved price, I couldn't pick up my truck and that meant that wouldn't make it to Boston that weekend for chemo. So the implication was, if I didn't pay the increased and unapproved increase in costs they would hold my truck until I ether paid or had gone through whole court/litigation thing, or they would hold my truck hostage. All while knowing, because I made it clear when we discussed time frames that I had chemo that week. In closing, if you find you need something Ford related, and if it's for something complex, GO ELSEWHERE! 'cuz it seems they can't do the caliber of work they imply, Can't say you weren't warned. More

NOPE! Called and scheduled a service, and when I arrived, I added a state inspection. They told me about 2 hours. I arrived back in two hours, and auto Called and scheduled a service, and when I arrived, I added a state inspection. They told me about 2 hours. I arrived back in two hours, and auto was in bay but nothing seemed happening. I inquired about it. Told the inspection was done, but the other routine maintenance could be another hour or two! I walked away shocked, and turned around and was like, "NOPE!" I will take my car back and pay for inspection. I will never go back there for service. Luckily, they did not touch it other than driving and doing inspection. nope, nope, nope. More
