This dealership must be trying very hard to be sub-par because they have proven it to me this time. So why would I rate them “sub-standard”. Here is my experience for today for my $75,000 2021 F-150 wi because they have proven it to me this time. So why would I rate them “sub-standard”. Here is my experience for today for my $75,000 2021 F-150 with approx. 39k miles on it. I called a couple days ago to see if they had the tires I wanted in stock, they did not but would have them the next day. I went there for 4 new Michelin LTX 20” MS2” tires at $250 per tire and a 4-wheel alignment, the costs were fair. The other issue was the Navigation Map on the screen often does not populate and luckily this time arriving at the dealership it was still trying to load (populate) after the 15 min drive to this dealership which is close to my home. I did not shut off the truck but left it running so the Service Adviser Alexander Hernandez could see it in this mode of trying to populate the navigation map. Now this not the first time this exact issue has been “repaired” at, at this dealership. Obviously not fixed the first time or the second time and this is at least the third attempt at this repair. The first time they were informed about this map screen not populating is when I was there for a recall service under the “Factory” warranty at approx. 32,000 miles, not on the 7 year extended warranty purchased with the truck when new. Well it was not fixed that visit as it kept on recurring. This was supposed to be repaired again when I returned for oil change, tire rotation & front brakes at approx. 33,000 miles again under the factory warranty…again obviously not fixed correctly. So now at approx. 39,000 miles I return for new tires, 4 wheel alignment and also to look at and fix the screen not populating the map. When I dropped off the truck late afternoon on 2/25/25 I informed the Service Advisor to be sure the steering wheel is straight and to double check as I do not like to drive with the steering wheel cocked to one side while driving in a straight line. Unfortunate today Wednesday 2/26/25 I went to pick up the truck and pay the bill. They billed me $100 for the detectable on the extended warranty on the truck for working to fix the map not populating. I went to the Service Dept. Manager and with a bit of an attitude he told me the deductible must be paid on the extended warranty no matter what! I feel since you have had prior warranty attempts to fix this issue why should have to pay to fix what you had the opportunity to fix more than once in the past… he told me not to speak so loudly…we were outside in the somewhat noisy service area, I told him I am bit hard of hearing (Senior Citizen) so I am not yelling but I do tend to talk loudly but not on purpose. He refused to reduce the bill. And for me it is not a matter of cost but the principal. I kept on saying how they can charge again for repair that was done already… he must have had bad day… but this is not how this ended, read on. I go in pay the Service Advisor $1,480.93 (4 tires & alignment) and get into my truck which they did actually wash and it looked nice and clean. Now for the bad. Once I start the truck the Ford start up “splash” screen shows up then the screen goes BLACK. The Service Manager just happens to be outside where my truck was, so I rolled down the window and informed him that the screen does not work, he told me to leave, that I was barred from ever returning for service and that I was “trespassing”, I told him to call the police. The screen did finally come up, so I drove off. While driving on South Dixie Hwy. I immediately see that the steering wheel is off to the right when driving straight on a main road. If I turn the wheel so it would be straight the truck turns to the left, so much that it would change lanes and or drive of the side of the road if the wheel is held straight. Note that this is after informing the service adviser Alex Hernandez that it was very, very important to me to get the wheel straight from the alignment, if not they will have redo it More
