I took my vehicle to the Quick Lane in Clermont for new tires and a new battery for my 2020 F-150. Although the communication with me was satisfactory during the transaction, when I came to pick the vehic tires and a new battery for my 2020 F-150. Although the communication with me was satisfactory during the transaction, when I came to pick the vehicle up, it was on a "test drive", so I waited for it to return. Once it returned, I drove away from the service center, but when I turned on to Highway 50 and accelerated, my truck began vibrating uncontrollably. It was clear something was wrong with the balancing. I returned, explained the situation, and the truck was taken in for evaluation. Apparently, the balancing was incorrect so it was corrected. I drove away and the truck seemed to be fine. My biggest concern was the comment concerning the "test drive". If anybody had taken the truck to a speed above 20MPH, it would have been clearly evident that there was a problem. My assessment: No test drive of any consequence was accomplished. A test drive in the parking lot is not a proper test drive. This wasted my time and, more importantly, calls into question the ability of the service center to do what they say they will do. At this point, I believe I will look elsewhere for future service, nor will I recommend Quick Lane to any of my friends. I do not blame the service consultant, but I question the veracity of the service technician. More
