All Ford dealers are running a 2020 model blowout so there are good deals everywhere. What caught my eye was the $6000 guaranteed trade-in for any car. Beware, it's not as good as it looks. Looking at the fine print, the trade-in is off the sticker price, not the promo price. So, after running the numbers with the $6000 trade and other incentives, the trade-in worked out to $2500 off the promo price. That's a far cry from the $6000 "guarantee". All in all, they are just another dealership, make sure you check the fine print before falling for a "great" deal. More

We buy 2 new cars every 2 years and I have owned more than 20 Fords and I would NOT recommend this dealer. We purchased a new Expedition and had already agreed to the price. When it was time to pay, the finance manager had added a "protection packaged" that cost over $1,000 and said it was put on all their cars and could not be deleted. This of course is nonsense. I found out from another Ford dealership that this package costs them almost nothing. After some heated conversation he agreed to drop the cost by 50% (which is still ridiculous). At this point I paid it as we needed the Expedition but they lost my business on 4 Fords since then! Their mandatory protection package has cost them dearly in lost sales to me and my company. There are several other Ford dealers in the area that do not add these additional costs so I went to them for future purchases. More
I'm appalled about the customer service with Ford of Clermont and their manager Greg. I'm regretting my purchase and any dealings with them at all. Must have many complaints, if you cant even provide your GM's name. I would prefer not to even give one star. I regret not staying with Mulliax Ford of Apopka. My next letter is to the BBB. Update, now I have Greg calling me to tell me what a great and nice guy he is...WOW. More

Terrible business practice. The salesman Chad Wassman told me he wouldn't haggle over a few hundred dollars, and stated that he wouldn't have a problem taking a few hundred off the listed price of 44K. told me he wouldn't haggle over a few hundred dollars, and stated that he wouldn't have a problem taking a few hundred off the listed price of 44K. After going through their financing department which tried to give me a high interest rate loan, and insisting it's the best they could do, I got a great rate from my bank. I offered 43,500 for the vehicle (a few hundred off), and he stated there was nothing they could do. Mr. Wassman is a very cold, money hungry salesman who didn't attempt to work with me at all regarding this vehicle. It's a wonder why Ford is currently struggling with plans to stop selling most passenger vehicles. Find another dealer! More
UPDATE: While at the dealership trying to get an issue with our window tint fixed our salesman Jose asked for our review to be removed because he got yelled at about it. In the past month I have purchased two vehicles at Ford of Clermont. Johnny Mac and Jose did an exceptional job as our salesmen. They listen to your needs and find you the vehicle that is perfect for you. Both deals went amazing with the exception of Ron Gasparino in finance. The first time there was an error adding warranties we didn’t want and although I verbally said I didn’t want certain extras they were included. Since our car was totaled that morning I made the mistake of moving through the signing a little too fast believing my desire for no warranties had been met although they were added to the purchase. During our second purchase a month later Ron was the only finance person available and his rude behavior and judgement of us over a simple question made us walk out of the signing and contemplate for almost an hour if we wanted to continue to purchase from a company that employs this type of person. He continued to come out and upset us with his stereotypes about what people get good deals and bad. According to Ron “nerds” are tier 1. He was very judgemental over someone not having tier 1 credit, mind you there are 5 tiers. If it wasn’t for the new manager, Yohan, that took over that day we might not have finished the purchase of the vehicle. I recommend you ask for a different finance person if you are purchasing from Ford of Clermont. Johnny Mac, Jose, and Yohan all get 5 stars but Ron Gasparino/finance gets 0 stars for a combined rating of 3 stars More

I hope no one takes advantage of their elderly mothers the same way. More
