I purchased a used 2006 Ford Explored in May of 2010 from a salesperson by the name of AL! I recently traded this truck in on June 2012 to an authorized Chey dealership and purchased a brand new 2012 Chevy C a salesperson by the name of AL! I recently traded this truck in on June 2012 to an authorized Chey dealership and purchased a brand new 2012 Chevy Camaro. Upon appraisal it was discovered that this truck had been hit and according to AUTOCHEK was in an accident in Dec of 2009 and has major frame damage!!! iIwas unable to get full value of the truck upon trade due to this damage. Valley stream Lincoln Mercury did not disclose any of this information prior to me signing for the truck. I contacted Al on June 22nd and he told me that the truck had not been hit and they have no knowledge according to HIS CARFAX!! So I guess the Chevy dealership just made up this information. Al assured me not to worry he willtake care of this and get me into a Camaro. he said he had dealers on long island that he works with and he willcall me back. Al didn't call. I called him. Al told me he was currently "working on my file" as we speak.. Yeah riight sure you were AL! Anyways Al told me that the computers were running slow and he would call me back in a few hours!! Al never called me back!! Its been 3 weeks and I have yet to hear from AL. I have already filed a complaint with BBB and have also filed and mailed papers up to DMV reporting this dealership for there unlawful practices. My next step will be to sue you guys in court! I came in to the dealership after going to 16 other dealer around NYC and left with a great car at a great price and extremly easy financing and stress free. I was initially apprehensive about making payments on a second car after enjoying my paid off one, but Guizell and Greg made it very quick simple and no B.S and no running around back and forth back and forth like many dealer in the area. Made the experience as painless as possible. He worked out my down payment and budget sittuation and was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. I am more happy with my decision with every passing day. And, Greg was kind and explained all my options as well with the financing team. I brought a 2006 mercury milan back in 2010.Two week in my car steering went out.Thank God I just got to work. I called Al and he sent me to service. They told me to bring the car in. Hello,I have no steering.After calling Al leaving messages I called front desk and they got him on phone. After they fix that problem two weeks later my engine light comes on. I call Al and no answer.I call service and now they want to be smart did you close the gas tank. Yeah its close??. I bring car back again to fix.After that car one month later engine light again. I call Al no answer so now Im xxxx off. When he wants a sell he answer his phone.Now I want a new car.Al promise I will get you in something let me talk to manager.He showed me a Nitro SUV. We just have to get the papers done and title and the bank will switch the milan out. After 2 wks I called Al to see ? is it taking so long.Al lied and said something is wrong with truck not passing inspection??. Finally the manager Paul@oceanside told me Al was not telling the truth becuz he couldnt trade that in so soon. Paul fix the milan for me and paid for me car rental for 2 weeks. Now Al said after 1 year bring car back to trade in for better one lower note. So after 2 year I brought my milan back. Al said oooo I will take care of her. OOo yes I will get you in 2009 mariner its urs. He calls me after a week and told me the person taking care of bank is out w/family issues. I will call you during the week to come in and get ur car.I will put keys up for you. I havent heard from Al. I called him and he said the car will be more 425 a month.No you promise it will be same note or less. So now I have all my numbers of All Fords and texting Al with numbers.He wasnt even a man to call and speak to me. Every time I call voice mail. No he was get over this time. I had everything ready. I also got a loyalty program letter that he made expire after 2 weeks but he said its good. That BS.He is a bad salesperson. He go to auctions get cars and sell them to lower esteem people and takes advantage of ppl. He suck and make that whole Valley Stream look bad. Everyone have complaints about Al. I went back thinking he would help since he sold me a lemon. And knew it. He is a cowd More
I bought a certified pre-owned 2009 Ford Escape from VALLEY STREAM LINCOLN MERCURY 676 West Merrick Road, Valley Stream, NY 11580 on 08/11/10. I took the car to the dealer service station on 08/11/10 VALLEY STREAM LINCOLN MERCURY 676 West Merrick Road, Valley Stream, NY 11580 on 08/11/10. I took the car to the dealer service station on 08/11/10 for repair due to a faulty tire pressure gauge dashboard message. The car is under full dealer warranty. (copy will be provided) They told me that I would have to come back again because the rims on the car were incorrect and that they would have to order them. They said it would take 3 weeks. In between that time I had to take the car back 08/29/10 because an engine light came on. I asked about the rims and they said that it would be another 3 weeks. I called the service station at a little over 3 weeks to check on the status. I was told to call the dealer. After several phone called and un-returned messages. I was told to contact the service station. Being given the "runaround" and seeking a resolution to the problem I then sent an email describing my issue to the corporate site at Ford.com. A representative named Rob at 866-631-3788 ext. 7711 called me on or about 11/05. He called the service station and was told the parts would come in 11/10. I called the service station on 11/12, then the dealer and was told that the parts did not come in and that he could not give me an estimate of when they would be able to make the repair. I called Rob back and he setup an appointment for 9 am 11/17 to bring the car to the dealer service station in Oceanside to see someone named Paul because he needed to inspect the car and order the part. Again mentioning an additional 3 week time table. I went to the dealer on 11/17 and Paul was not there. When asked when he would come in I was told by an employee that they didn't know when he would arrive. I am now at this impasse and find it necessary to explore alternative action to compel them to address this problem in a timely and professional manner. It has been several months and 4 trips back to the dealer service station without resolve. I purchased the car as a certified pre-owned vehicle and it was under FULL WARRANTY at the time I brought the car in 08/11/10. I would have liked to resolve this matter without seeking help from the New York City Consumer Affairs, and BBB but at this point I am left no other recourse. More
I went in a brought a vehicle in April...The sales guy was Al... He seemed nice and well trained...Before buying the vehicle I was assured that everything that it need would be there....pick it up and di was Al... He seemed nice and well trained...Before buying the vehicle I was assured that everything that it need would be there....pick it up and didn't get the nav disk for 3 weeks...then another 3 weeks and 9 trips back and forth for the second key....but the real big kicker is...I went to trade in the car...And the other dealership only offer me less then half for it....I just brought the car 3 months ago...the said the car had a accident on the carfax....Al said the car was from his other dealership ....also told me the car was clean no hits...Now he doesn't answer his phone.....I will never do business with them again....my advice don't go...u work hard for ur money...u shouldn't get treated like this....
