Does not keep their word So I'm working with a salesman for 12 days on a truck, I get all the necessary paperwork needed to get approved and was told I need at least $1000 dow So I'm working with a salesman for 12 days on a truck, I get all the necessary paperwork needed to get approved and was told I need at least $1000 down. OK fine, so I was going to trade in my car and put the $1000 down in cash but since he only offered me $500 for my trade-in I told him I would sell it out right and I would come in with $2000 cash and no trade if he could get the loan approved through the bank. The next day after he got the necessary paperwork for the bank he emailed me and told me "everything looks like it is good to go" so I sold my car for the $2000 told him I would be in when I got out of work to finalize the deal. He said OK, had the truck detailed and told me it would be on the front line waiting for me when I got there. I said that's great I am getting out at five I will be there about 530. I walk in and up to this desk is with a customer so I told him I would be waiting in the customer lounge he said OK it should only be a few minutes. I waited about 20 minutes and he comes and gets me brings me to his desk and says you're interested in the frontier correct I said yes that's what we've been talking about and he said well someone just bought it about three minutes before you walk past my desk sorry there's nothing we can do because you didn't put down a deposit. I then reminded him that he was the one that called me about the truck he had gotten in he thought I may be interested in and he went on to tell me there was nothing he could do. So, after I sold the only vehicle I had to put the deposit down on the truck he tells me this leaving me without a car to get back-and-forth to work. So now I am at square zero with no vehicle and no way to get back-and-forth to work. This is the email confirming my appointment when I got out of work today. Hi Paul, I was able to get everything over to the bank as far as the paper work you sent over to me... It looks like everything is going to be good to go.. I will have the truck ready for you to test drive at 530pm today if you do like it I will be sure to go over all the exact figures with you as far as payments and terms of the loan.
