Repair on my accord was done in 2 days but they returned the wrong key to us. We were from out of town and discovered it 2 hours from Ft Smith. Called them and DJ said he would mail the key to us that day. the wrong key to us. We were from out of town and discovered it 2 hours from Ft Smith. Called them and DJ said he would mail the key to us that day. I mailed the wrong one the day after we got back. We received our key today and they had the nerve to mail it back to us in the envelope we sent the wrong one back to them in!! So basically they waited until they received the one they gave us before they mailed ours to us. I mailed it on 9/8 and they mailed ours to us( in our envelope mind you) on 9/14!! I guess they were waiting to see if WE were true to our word. DJ told me on the phone “I have your key in my hand and I will mail it today” he actually waited 7 days before mailing ours. Evidently not true to his. The keys were not marked or tagged in any way at all. Receptionist said that the keys are always marked. Not so! More
It’s sad I have to put it out like this but at least this will help people avoid any danger. Be careful when you take your vehicle to get serviced at Floyd Traylor Honda and make sure you get it double check will help people avoid any danger. Be careful when you take your vehicle to get serviced at Floyd Traylor Honda and make sure you get it double checked. My sister and I took a Pilot to get serviced and wheel balance/rotation done. After we picked it up and got on the highway the wheels started shaking very bad, the wheels were loose. The service manager and 2 other service members checked the wheels and the service manager said the Honda rims were the problem and that because they were Ridgeline rims, not Pilot rims, they don’t fit that model. He then said he would force them back in but would try to find the proper rims and would contact me after figuring out what needed to be done about this issue. After almost 2 weeks of no response from the service manager, we decided to take it to a professional to get it checked. They confirmed, the rims are an exact match, no issues there. Floyd Traylor Honda just didn’t bolt them on right. I called the service manager back and told him what I was told and he quickly said it was actually my disc hubs on the Pilot. He said he had compared my hubs to other Pilots they’ve gotten in the recent days and all 4 disc hubs weren’t perfectly centered. I was so confused and I asked how he managed to leave that out that night he faulted the rims, and he said he didn’t know at the time, so I asked how he knew now since he didn’t take my hubs, pictures of the hubs, or measurements that night to have any information to compare. He said he compared his “mental image” of my disc hubs from that night🤦🏽♂️, although he didn’t know they were an issue that night but stored a mental image and that he could actually do that because he’s been doing this for over 20 years and was upset I questioned his skills. I’ve tried to reach out to Honda for days with no response so you guys be careful. More
Worst service experience I have ever had. Misdiagnosed an air conditioner issue on my 2016 Honda Pilot. Originally quote $551, but that repair did not work. Now they won’t refund the $551 because we refuse t air conditioner issue on my 2016 Honda Pilot. Originally quote $551, but that repair did not work. Now they won’t refund the $551 because we refuse to pay $3,000 for a whole new air conditioning system. Bait and switch. 1 month without my car. Best part is, the general manager won’t return my calls, would not come out of his office to talk to me about taking advantage of my wife, and then called the police to report our loaner car stolen. I will never do business with Honda again. After owning 5 Honda’s, I will never consider buying another one because the service department of Floyd Traylor Honda in Fort Smith. More
Heading home to North Carolina on a Friday afternoon (10/2/20), I hit a piece of firewood that had fallen off a truck on I-40 in eastern Oklahoma - at 80 mph. We did not wreck my 2018 Honda, but the rim (10/2/20), I hit a piece of firewood that had fallen off a truck on I-40 in eastern Oklahoma - at 80 mph. We did not wreck my 2018 Honda, but the rim was bent and the tire exploded. We put on the spare and limped into Fort Smith. We found the Floyd Traylor Honda dealership, and the service department DID NOT HESITATE to help us out immediately. Service manager Jorge Huazo, aided by service advisor DT Neal, did an outstanding job trying to find a rim and a tire that would work on our Honda Fit. There were no rims in the area that would work, so Mr. Huazo made arrangements to have one overnighted by Fed Ex. My wife and I spent the night in Fort Smith; while at dinner - after 7 pm on a Friday night - I received a phone cal from General Manager Glen Pirtle asking if we were okay and was I happy with the service I had received on a late Friday afternoon. We were impressed! We arrived at back at the dealership very early the next day, and the fellas in the service department were ready with the rim and new tire. We were quite pleased with the politeness of the crew, as well as their efficiency in the handling of our car. We left very pleased. On Sunday, we were about 200 miles from home, just east of Asheville, North Carolina. Suddenly, on I-40 (again) our car lurched to the left...our new tire was flat! We (again) put on the spare and this time limped home. On Monday morning I took the tire to my regular Honda dealer in Cary to have the new tire checked out. The technicians discovered that the tire had been mounted wrong in Arkansas, and this had caused the tire rub against the rim and give out. I called Floyd Traylor Honda in Fort Smith and talked with service manager Jorge Huazo. I explained the situation to him, sent him photos of the tire and had emails sent to him from the service technicians at my home dealership. My Huazo could not have been more helpful! He went to Mr. Pirtle and explained our problem, showed him the photos and the emails, and called me back several times to assure me he was working on the problem. In a few days I had a check from the Fort Smith dealership, reimbursing me for the tire I had purchased. Mr. Neal, Mr. Pirtle, and ESPECIALLY Mr. Huazo were exceptional in their service and attitude towards me! Since I live 1,000 Miles from Fort Smith, I doubt that I will ever do business there again, but that did not matter to these fellas - they were top notch employees - and top notch guys. I highly recommend this dealership if you live in this area! More

If I could give zero stars...I would The service section (which you may end up using if you purchase from here) is unbelievably inept. We had the unfortunate experience of having our car The service section (which you may end up using if you purchase from here) is unbelievably inept. We had the unfortunate experience of having our car break down from out of town and land in this godforsaken place. They called us all of zero times over two weeks. To get any information about the status of our car, WE had to call THEM and it was regularly difficult to get through, long hold waits, etc. They charged us $90 to pull the car literally around the corner, from their parking lot to the service station. Then, when I tried to donate my car to the local NPR station because it was no longer worth it to fix, they stated that it needed to be picked up ASAP or they would start charging us for it to sit in their parking lot. This threat was made even though arrangements were clearly being made to have it towed soon. More
