Last Saturday the gas tank latch got stuck on my Forrester making it impossible to put gas in the car. We live in Rappahannock County at least an hour away from any dealers. I thought it would be impossible to get it fixed on a weekend, provided we even had enough gas to get to either Winchester or Charlottesville. My husband wanted to go to Charlottesville, but I was leaning toward Winchester (20 miles closer). Well, he won and we headed to Charlottesville. When we arrived, Tim was extremely nice and went out to take a look at the problem. He enlisted the help of Rae Morris and within ten minutes we were on our way, having purchased (for less than five dollars) a part that they installed in the parking lot. All of this without an appointment! Does this really happen anymore? Yes, and I am forever a fan of Brown Subaru service department. More

On the basis of working with Jason in Finance, I would not purchase another car from this dealer under any circumstance. Upon my rejecting the dealer's extended maintenance plans, he became VERY condescen not purchase another car from this dealer under any circumstance. Upon my rejecting the dealer's extended maintenance plans, he became VERY condescending and rude. He should not be working in this line of work if this is how he operates. Simply the most terrible customer service I have ever received, anywhere. Do not go there! More
Shawn did a great job getting us the car we needed. He was very friendly and followed through with all the details to make the sale happen. My wife had an accident because of a brain tumor and I needed to replace my car quickly; Leslie met with me, test drove various models; Outback was choice; care and compassion shown by Michael (Sales Mana needed to replace my car quickly; Leslie met with me, test drove various models; Outback was choice; care and compassion shown by Michael (Sales Manager) as well as Leslie because of wife's diagnosis...allowed for a loaner so would have transportation until my car could be made ready. The transaction was effortless, allowed trade of car that was scheduled for repair and took that responsibility out of my hands....everyone has done everything necessary to make this a pleasant and easy experience including Ned Galloway, the Business Manager. I have had great interactions with Brown for other transactions and service and am pleased to have the opportunity to use their services again....cannot say enough about how grateful we are to work with these people.
