During the sales process, the salesperson said that the onl Very Poor After Sale Customer Experience I bought a brand new 2021 Mazda CX-5 recently. During the sales process, the salesperson said that the only differences between the top trim line and the next one down was that the top trim line included the navigation system and had a 360-degree camera view. The price difference was a bit over $2000, and I could add navigation for about $500. Shame on me for not digging deeper to verify that. The only car they had for me to test drive at that point was the top trim line (the lower trim line vehicle was out of gas) and I liked it. I liked the price on the next one down, so I bought it. Withing a few days of the purchase, I found that there were quite a few more features that were missing from my new car. I had repeated conversations in person and by phone, with a service return to dealership for fixes that could not address and fix the problems. Ultimately, they stopped replying to my text questions so I contacted Mazda Corporate. They said they would contact the dealership and get back to me. They didn’t (at least get back to me). My frustrations mounted to the point where I no longer own the car and could never in good conscience return to that Mazda dealership. More

I was very surprised to discover that there was no jack base in the cutout that was made for it, so I had to call AAA and the delay caused me to miss my appointment. I called Flow and explained the situation but the Sales Manager said they couldn't do anything for me since it had been two years. They offered to sell me a replacement part for nearly $200. Is that understandable? Maybe..... *** Update **** Flow Mazda called me back after I expressed discontent and offered to compensate me for the replacement part I'd bought on eBay. I'm very impressed. Excellent Experience I purchased a new CX-9 this week from Flow Mazda of Charlottesville. The entire experience was excellent. The sales representative, Mr. Stone was know I purchased a new CX-9 this week from Flow Mazda of Charlottesville. The entire experience was excellent. The sales representative, Mr. Stone was knowledgeable about the car. He did not apply high pressure sales techniques but still articulated well the positive features of the vehicle. Completing all of the necessary paperwork was made as painless as possible which I appreciated. All of this was accomplished while dealer staff were attentive to the pandemic by wearing masks at all times. Overall a very positive purchase experience. More
No Pressure I really appreciated the customer service given by Dillon Stone and Antonio Rodriguez. They were friendly, informative and I felt no pressure. I fel I really appreciated the customer service given by Dillon Stone and Antonio Rodriguez. They were friendly, informative and I felt no pressure. I felt like I had two new friends by the end of our first interaction. I know I will have a lot of questions about how everything on my new CX-5 works and I know Dillon is available with just a phone call or if I stop by the dealership. Antonio did an excellent job of explaining “the numbers” and all the optional ad ons without pressure. The only customer service improvement that could have been improved upon was a better detail by the service dept of my new vehicle. In my view, a newly purchased vehicle should be sparkling both inside and out. Windows needed cleaning and the dust on the interior should have been wiped off. Only the exterior was washed with a lot of dust still in the door jams and rear hatch. Dillon took it upon himself to wipe out the door jams and rear hatch. I only noticed the windows and dusty dashboard once out in the sunlight the next day. More

They exemplify the kind of representatives car owners are seeking when they take their cars to be serviced and/or repaired (i.e. high integrity, honesty, professionalism, knowledge, fairness and likeability). My New Mazda 3 I had a WONDERFUL car buying experience. I came into the dealer looking at the Mazda 3. My sales associate Dillon was very courteous and knowledgeab I had a WONDERFUL car buying experience. I came into the dealer looking at the Mazda 3. My sales associate Dillon was very courteous and knowledgeable. He showed me many features on the vehicle with enthusiasm. He allowed me to do some more research before deciding to purchase the vehicle and promptly followed up with me that week. When I decided I wanted a model not on the lot he worked with me to have one transported. I will recommend Dillon and Flow in the future. Also, I could not believe the amazing deal on my new car! Regular maintainence service Although I did not buy my Mazda Miata from Flow Mazda (it is an older 1996 model) they have serviced it for a number of years. This service has range Although I did not buy my Mazda Miata from Flow Mazda (it is an older 1996 model) they have serviced it for a number of years. This service has ranged from major service including water pump replacement and at the same time having them replace all the hoses and belts as the vehicle was then 15 years old. Last week I had them do an annual inspection, checkup and oil change and although it was clean when I brought it in they washed and detailed it to a sparkling shine before I picked it back up after a few hours. I appreciate the extra no-cost care they took with it. Once when I brought it in for a minor regular service I asked if the service advisor knew of someone like a "Dent Doctor" who regularly came around to fix small dents without paint or body work for the used or new vehicles on their lot, that might have been dinged slightly in shipment or otherwise. They went out of their way to locate and call their local dent subcontractor and he came by that day, they called me his cost estimate WITH NO MARKUP and he fixed all the small dents in an hour, and they simply added his fee to my bill and I paid for everything when I came back in a few hours and picked up the car. No separate visit or payment. I thought that was going well out of their way with service! One thing I have NOT experienced there is the usual dealer service "advisor" push to do somewhat unnecessary maintenance such as replacing a clean cabin air filter, engine air filter or spark plugs or "oil system flush", to pad up the bill! Congrats and keep it up! More
