Went there to look at used vehicles only, but after Mr. Young explained the depreciation part, a.k.a. how Honda's hold their value it made sense to at least take a look at new vehicles as well. He even picked me up from a different location after I had sold my old vehicle, and he took the time to sit with me and go over every detail of the vehicle and all the new technology features the new car has. I would have been able to figure all this out on my own, but it was so much easier and faster to have him explain. We started our car search by going online and contacting several Honda dealers within about 150 miles of Charlottesville to gauge best pricing for the car that we wanted. Many of the dealers didn't respond to my inquiries and of those that did, there were three that responded immediatley with a price for exactly what I had asked for. Robert Fones from Brown's was awesome to work with via email and over the phone. He quoted me a very competetive internet price and was super responsive when I asked for him to send me the quote, in writing, via email. He even agreed to match an incentive that had been offered by another dealer. We went into the dealer that same day and were helped by Steve Young in the sales department. Steve was very nice and personable . We knew exactly what we wanted which made the process easier. Steve was no nonsense and answered all of our questions. I feel like we got a great deal based on all of my (very anal and extensive) research. even though we were there until almost 10 pm, Steve stayed at the dealership to make sure that we had a full tank of gas and that we understood how everything in the car worked. In the car buying process, my experiences have taught me that it pays to do your homework and to have a good idea of exactly what you want before you start talking with dealers. But once you know, Brown's is a great place to go. Our family has purchased now seven Hondas from Browns and we're consistently pleased. We'll be back :) More
