Great, all is going well so I asked him if we can talk numbers. We sit down and he brings in his manager. The manager is named Tamer Ahmed. This guy talks as though he owns the dealership and that he doesn't really need my business. He tells me that the car I'm looking to buy (Prius plug-in) is easily sold and he can't keep it in stock for long. He goes on to tell me that if he wants to charge $3,000 over sticker price he'll charge $3,000 over sticker price. I was shocked to hear this. He continues telling me that he is running a business and it's a matter of supply and demand. He says it's his right to charge whatever he feels like. I thanked him for his time and left. I can't recommend this place at all. Beware! More

We only buy cars every 12 or 13 years so we were dreading the whole experience and thought we'd try using Internet quotes to avoid the whole sales lot ordeal. We contacted Carson Toyota (along with 4 other dealerships) via email/Internet to get a quote. Dianne (Whitmore) replied very quickly, asking for my phone number. I emailed back, saying I preferred to deal with her via email only. She immediately emailed back letting me know that was fine. For about 5 hours, we emailed back and forth, clarifying a couple of issues until I got an exact "out-the-door" quote. The price was a bit lower than the other dealerships I contacted and she was the only one that didn't pressure me to "just come down to the lot so we can talk". That evening, we made an appointment to go in the next day to finalize the deal. The receptionist greeted us, called Dianne and sent us to get some free coffee/hot chocolate in the (beautiful) customer lounge. Dianne soon greeted us but said she had an emergency conference call and introduced us to Greg (Bowman)who would help us. Greg was fabulous. He "held our hands" through the whole process. We never felt rushed or bombarded. He made sure that any questions we had were answered completely. He took his time, walking through the process step by step, clearly explaining things along the way while still making time for all of us to learn a bit more about each other. He looked out for us the whole way, helping us to figure out the best financing option, putting together the application for the CA rebate, double-checking on how to take title. He answered questions knowledgeably when he knew the answer and quickly admitted when he didn't, then just as quickly found someone who did. He stuck with us through the entire process, waiting outside the door while we completed the finance paperwork with Ronny (who was also great) then walked us to the new car, making sure to get my iPhone paired to lessen any frustration I might have with doing it by myself. All this while being very friendly and personable, giving the exact price Dianne had quoted and never pressuring us to buy anything other than what we asked for. What a nice surprise it was to have buying a car be straight-forward and a pleasant experience. We couldn't be happier with Dianne and Greg and are happy to recommend Carson Toyota based on our experience. (And, no, we had never met them before this experience and we don't own stock in the company!) More

After several years going to Glendale Toyota for servicing my Scion xb I decided not to ever go back after an unpleasant experience. When I picked my car up from service I was given the same car mak servicing my Scion xb I decided not to ever go back after an unpleasant experience. When I picked my car up from service I was given the same car make, but once I got inside I noticed it was not mine! I left the car they gave me in the street after realizing it wasn't mine furiously! It's time for my maintenance once again so I walked into this car dealership and the sales person Loyd Aler helped me to the Services department. He was very friendly and helpful especially being the lady I am I know nothing about cars except driving it. Service at this dealership is superb! Here is my experience with this place. Be very Here is my experience with this place. Be very careful!!! I had been dealing with Loyd Aler, internet sales guy at Carson Toyota & Scion. After seve Here is my experience with this place. Be very careful!!! I had been dealing with Loyd Aler, internet sales guy at Carson Toyota & Scion. After several back and forth emails, we agreed on the price. I had asked him to send me a quote for a particular car in writing. He did. So now I have a car description, VIN number of the car and quote in writing in my hands. He called me and offered me to prepare all the paper work before I come in, asking me for my driver license, social security and proof of insurance. I had provided all this info. He called me and said that he ran my credit, everything looked great and documents would be ready for me to sign when I came in. The dealership was 40 miles away, Loyd Aler was perfectly aware of that. When I was on my way (he was calling and checking if I was) he told me that there was a problem, and he would not be able to give me this car at the price that we had agreed on, blaming on his managers. He offered me higher price, begging me to still come and buy a car. Offering to give me “..out of my own pocket, Toyota Pen, Toyota Hat and 2 Air Fresheners…” I thought to myself this place is full of NUTS!!! It all seemed like a FRAUD. How can you send me an official quote, run my credit and lie to me ? I would not mind it all if it would be just a price negotiation, but not after an official offer and NOT AFTER THEY HAD RUN MY CREDIT and it dropped because of it. Now because of Loyd Aler, his manger Chilly Bartchilly and GM Marty Brylski incompetence, I have to go somewhere else and run it again. More
First off I want to thank the internet department specially Loyd Aler and Chlli...after having the WORST experience at KEYES TOYOTA on Van Nuys...I called Joseph (i think) and asked him to double che specially Loyd Aler and Chlli...after having the WORST experience at KEYES TOYOTA on Van Nuys...I called Joseph (i think) and asked him to double check to make sure that they had the SPECIFIC truck I wanted, he said they did, and so I took a chance and drove all the way down there from Santa Clarita. Let me tell you I have no affiliation with Toyota or anybody that works there. But the drive down there took longer than the time I was there. Loyd showed me the truck I told him that we wanted it, but for the right price. There was no haggling (i did my homework and they stayed true to their motto of offering the absolute best prices) I told them what price we wanted, and they agreed that it was fair. I was literally on my way back home 1:15 hours later in my new truck! the most painless vehicle purchase ever not only that but the service was GREAT. Thanks Loyd, Chilly and finance guy! EXTREMELY PLEASED! -Luis H. and Imelda S. More
Mr. Bryiski, 1/2/2014 Happy New Mr. Bryiski, 1/2/2014 Happy New Year! I called and left you a message in early December. Unfortunately I did not receive a call Mr. Bryiski, 1/2/2014 Happy New Year! I called and left you a message in early December. Unfortunately I did not receive a call back, so my guess is that the holidays is a very busy time and I just slipped through the cracks. Now that the holidays are over I thought I'd try to see if this message center was working now. I called and spoke with your service representative Pete regarding a problem I was having with my Smart Entry System and he told me to bring it in. I came into your dealership on Tuesday, December 3rd and met with Pete. I told him my problem ( when opening - unlocking the driver door it had stopped opening the other doors at the same time and that when I shifted from park to drive the doors stopped locking immediately but would lock a few minutes later ) and that I had an extended Service Agreement. When I signed the work order, I asked him about the $50.00 fee listed on the order. He stated that is on all work orders in case it is something that isn't covered on your policy. They took the car in and a couple of hours later I picked the vehicle up and the problem was solved. I paid the $50.00 because Pete said it was a reset and that was not covered. Okay, I was not pleased with that but my problem was solved and off I went. The next day I went to get into my trunk using the Smart Entry System and was not able to open it, I could manually, I tried to call but there was a problem with your phone system and I left a message. No returned call! On Thursday I got a hold of Pete and he told me again to bring it in, which I did. this time no paperwork and they took it into the service area. A little over an hour later he came out and said that it had nothing to do with what they had previously done and that I had to authorize a $337.00 diagnosis before they could do anything. I reminded him of my Service Agreement and he stated he did not know if it was covered and I had to agree to be responsible for it if it wasn't. I asked him to call and see if it was covered and he stated could not do that before the diagnosis. Your Service Manager, Sean, told me the same thing. Now, I'm not a happy camper... I explained to Sean that everything was working fine on my vehicle except what I had described to Pete on Tuesday. His smart-alic response was "sure everything works before you bring it in". Needless to say the conversation went downhill from there and I took my car and left, that is when I called you and left a message on your message center. Now, I have since gotten a copy of my policy and it does cover the Smart Entry System. First, I would like my $50.00 refunded. Second, an apology from Sean and Third, my covered Smart System fixed under the Extend Service Policy. I would appreciate a prompt response from you. Respectfully, Keith Harrington He never even acknowledged my letter or returned my phone calls!!! More

I have been leasing cars with Chilly for the past several years and realized that all he cares about is leasing cars or selling cars. I was rushed into another lease which was 400 more per month and not eve years and realized that all he cares about is leasing cars or selling cars. I was rushed into another lease which was 400 more per month and not even 24 hours later, I called him and he told me it was too late. WARNING!!! I was so upset and tried to deal with my new lease on a 2013rav4 EV that it just got worse by they day. I called TFS, Corporate and spoke to the Customer Service Manager Walt who referred me to the sales manager Ishim? WHO had no sympathy for me and told me....."we sell cars only and nothing else!".....Be careful with this dealership, Chilly said he was my friend but no friend would ever allow this to happen to a single mom with 2 kids. I am planning on reporting this to the better business bureau. Even if I can't get out my lease, I will definitely not refer any friends or family and will never lease from this dealership again. Once my lease is up, I will gladly return this 2013rav4 EV. There are other Toyota dealerships around.....find one that really cares about their customers. More
