Don’t get turkey’D this holiday season or ever by this organization. Service department thrives on exploiting your extended warranty. If they don’t seen an avenue for exploration you will get your vehicle organization. Service department thrives on exploiting your extended warranty. If they don’t seen an avenue for exploration you will get your vehicle back in worse condition so you have to come back. To put it simply America invented white collar crime and iLL Gotton Gains. Website comments were scrubbed at the beginning of October. I’ve gotten better service and professionalism from 5 guys burgers. Only my experience after I gave new ownership the benefit of my doubt. A solution could have been established, however the new ownership did not see the value in having a meeting face to face for only 30 min. In fact after leaving a dozens voice mails and emails I didn’t get a call back from the owner until I disputed my payment. I was told by service manager Jason on my second return visit “ my best corporate technician went through your truck front to back” turns out a $20 OPV valve was the issue. I get it an$20 valve replacement is not in 5 guys business model. The trac control light stayed on after my visit for preventative maintenance. 3 weeks ago in bad weather conditions my truck was totaled after I spun around and needed up in a ditch. Trac control issue? Maybe. Anyone else with similar stories. I known I won’t put you out of business but I can control what I can control. Everyone within a three foot radius hears about my experience if the topic comes up. All I wanted was 30 min with the new ownership to figure out a solution. Those involved in my experience Technician named Grant performed a front and rear differential change and transmission flush. Grant left my truck in 4x4 and the person who picked up my truck didn’t realize it until back innocean shores. Thanks Grant. I was told by Jason the service manager that he would be able to tell me exactly when 4x4 was turned on and off. After asking Jason a half dozen times for the results of of these scans his answer was your 2017 truck is too old and no results were available. xxx Jason. Fail Jason service manager. Tried to exploit my extended warranty but actually tried to have me do the dirty work. When I got my truck back to ocean shores trac lights were on check engine lights on and warning that transmission fluid was too hot. Truck would not drive. 5 guys wouldn’t even come and tow my truck back in for a third time to have it looked at. Fail. If any wants to hear more details contact me directly. I am never hard to find. Again this is my experience only. Please don’t try to convince me the auto industry has just all of a sudden become legit. I wish I was wrong about this a 1000 times I really really do. On the search for a new truck now. Any recommendation? More

I absolutely love the toyota I purchased and the sale went very well. My problem occurred while taking my car in for a DETAIL ( the word the salesman used) two days later. I had to leave my car and take their shuttle to work. I was told they would DETAIL and install the hitch from my old car.... End of the day came, I took the shuttle back to pick up my finished car...... No, that did not happen. First the technician, looked sheepish and proceeded to take me to find my salesman. They did not put on the hitch. Of course not, it would not fit. No call, no nothing. That was the start. Found salesman and he knew I was upset and avoided eye contact, rushing to "find where they parked my car". We found my car and he opened my trunk, showing me the old, dirty hitch that had been thrown in the back of my beautiful car with no paper or mat down under it. I was speechless at this point. He says yea it rained this morning thats what the spots are on the outside too. I really could not believe what I was seeing. The salesman could not get away from me fast enough. I asked him as he was walking away, if I would be refunded for the install that did not happen? He said oh yea that would come in the form of a check, and then walked away...... When I got home, I opened the trunk and preceded to see the scratches and scuffs left by the hitch being thrown in the back. I had also noticed a small paint chip on the drivers side door which was Not there when I purchased it or took it in that morning. I was the most upset I have ever been. This was just all together a shotty job from start to finish. The salesman should never have said the hitch could be installed without actually checking first. The salesman should never have said the car would be DETAILED, unless they were going to actually do that.... My husband has taking care of talking to the salesman from here on out. It is not our first or even second purchase through 5 star, but I would have to say from this experience it will be our last. So disappointed with the service all around. One good comment would be for the shuttle driver, he was a delight. More

Treated me like family and I got what I wanted! My wife and I contacted Five Star Toyota to see if we could lease a car for my business. I was a little nervous about going to a dealership because m My wife and I contacted Five Star Toyota to see if we could lease a car for my business. I was a little nervous about going to a dealership because many of my experiences have been negative. I was pleasantly surprised. We made an appointment with Allen and when we showed up there was a car warmed up and ready to test drive within my specifications & price range. He handed us over to Tim Costner, who joined us for the test drive. He answered all our questions and gave us a few options to consider. It was at that point I was waiting for the extra charges and uncomfortable up-selling. It never happened. He was relaxed, knowledgable and fun to talk with. We finally agreed on a price and the paperwork began. Mark Schlott took over and brought us into his office and explained the lease to us, the charges and showed us where to sign the documents. He was also very pleasant to work with. We went to make the down payment and again I was waiting for hidden charges, but nope, we paid exactly what we had agreed on. WOW! I drove off the lot with a brand new 2019 Toyota Corolla, only 8 miles on it. It was a great experience all around. I highly reccomend Five Star Toyota, quality folks, not pushy, but there to get me the best deal for what I needed. Moyer Multi Media LLC is thrilled to have a dealership in town like this!
