I have been looking on the internet for a car for many months. I did not want to buy from a dealer because of my last dealings 25 years ago was really bad. So, I bought from private sellers. But in my search I found a 2003 Nissan Altima from Five Star. It had only 70,000+/- miles and I reseached Nissan's reliabiliy. It had good ratings. So, I emailed jodie and made arrangements to see the car. I drove 160 to meet Jodie, he explained that there were "clearcoat issues." He took me over to the vender that was going to paint the car. I inspected the car and there were a few issues but I felt I could live with a few of them but it had to be mechanically sound and it needed to be painted. The vender pointed to a black truck that looked new and said that "it will look like that and last for years." I was impressed and traded my old car in for the Altima. That was June 30. Five star gave me a loan for a week. They delivered the vehicle on Friday. The person who delivered the car said the check engine light came on on the way. Also, the paint did not seem right. I called Jodie and he said he needed to get the car back. I told him about the paint job and I agreed to bring it back. I got a new loaner. and kept it for 2 weeks. I returned the third time and look at the vehicle and it looked like they had just tried buffing it out. There was no paint in areas. So, Jodie goes and gets the vender and walks away as if Five Star had nothing to do with it. I had to pitch a fit in the parking lot. The General manager came to me and insisted that they would paint the car in a paint booth at five star. I told the general manager that Jodie said they would do the second time. But how do you paint a car without a paint booth? This sounded fishy. So, again I was given a loan and kept the loaner for 3 weeks. Jodie called me on a Wednesday and said they were bringing the car. It did not show up. Thursday Jodie called and let me know that they had to put an alternater on it and said that was why the check engine light came on. You would think that they would have checked that in the three weeks they had the car, not on the last day. Finally they brought me my car. I bought it on June 30, and August 11 I recieved it. I did have it one week during that time before returning it. So, I inspect the car and the paint job. It did not look like something you would expect a dealership of painting. This is a 200 dollar paint job at best. also, there idea of detailing a car is a wash job and vacuuming. I am now detailing the car myself. Because of how this ordeal went, I now do not trust this car. They got me good and played the game their way. There is more about this ordeal but I won't go into it. I will say that I may have made a big mistake trusting these guys and buying this car. They got their money and I got this thing. If you do business with them, insist on dealing with only the General manager, don't accept the first offer, and get a much longer warranty that covers most if not all parts of the car new or used. If they are unwilling to agree, walk away. I should have done that. Going back to a dealership was my mistake and I may pay a big price for it. It will be another 25 years before I buy a car from a dealership. More

He gave me some very useful information that I had never thought about. I recommend him and the dearlership to anyone that comes across and is on the market for purchasing a vehicle. As I walk to the dealership I already knew the specific car I wanted and had gathered some information about the pricing and the trading in process and what was needed. Jodie then took me around and we test drove the car, I immediately fell in love with my car and the rest was just paperwork. The guys made the entire process stress free and I even got my friend a good referal incentive. Thank you and best of luck. More
I've bought from 5 star before about 2 years ago. My husband first dealt with Jodie when he bought his 2010 Frontier. When they were getting his frontier to this location, he used the 2009 Altima to co husband first dealt with Jodie when he bought his 2010 Frontier. When they were getting his frontier to this location, he used the 2009 Altima to come home in. When I drove that vehicle, I fell in love with it. Called Jodie the next day and told him when my husband came in, to get the Altima ready, I'd be there and buy that one as well. The Altima was a great car. Now, I'm trading, not because of the Altima, but I am having back problems, and when it goes out, it's difficult to get in and out of the Altima when I have flare ups. So I traded for the Rogue. Super crossover!!!! Love the color, love the vehicle. I am not one that likes to get the run around, so I tell you up front what I expect, and if it's not reachable, it isn't beyond me to pack up and head home. However, Jodie, and Clinton, along with Art, were very professional and treated you with utmost respect. Even down to the finance guy, Aaron, you couldn't ask for a more professional staff. I would recommend anyone, who wants a good deal, along with pleasure while shopping, to go to 5 Star for all their vehicle needs. I will definately be buying my future vehicles from them. More
I initially had a not so great experience with this dealership. However, i am impressed with how quickly the issue was resolved.
