Poor Service I bought a new SUV from Five Star in late July. I received a letter in the mail for my free 1st oil change over a month ago. Since I had not reached 5 I bought a new SUV from Five Star in late July. I received a letter in the mail for my free 1st oil change over a month ago. Since I had not reached 5000 miles, I waited until I had an opportunity to take off work today to get my oil change. Mind you I live an hour and a half away from Macon and took off work to make the trip. I had another issue with the transmission that I wanted to have looked at as well. I WAS TOLD I COULD NOT GET AN OIL CHANGE TODAY BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO BUSY DOING HYUNDAI RECALL WORK. I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT OR THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN!! I can understand not being able to check out the transmission I guess but to be turned away for an oil change? I wonder if I would have been turned away if I was paying for the service? More

Great customer service until you have a problem Beware of the 10yr/ 100,000 mile warranty. What good is it when you have a problem with the engine and they refuse to recognize the problem. They say Beware of the 10yr/ 100,000 mile warranty. What good is it when you have a problem with the engine and they refuse to recognize the problem. They say they can't duplicate the problem. Pretty funny when you take it to an independent mechanic and they tell you there is a problem. You look online and you see that many people have the same problem but it is ignored. This is my third Hyundai and will be my last. I have also filled a claim with Hyundai. I'll update the post if things change. More
