BEWARE Salesman are stalkers... and Service is a JOKE! I have a $50K 2018 SS Camaro with 5500 miles on it. Around the 4K mile range I started hearing a moan from the rear differential. I left my car at Five Star Chevrolet for 5 weeks while I went out of the country for the holidays. They assured me it would be fixed by the time I returned. This is the 3rd visit for the same issue! I arrived to find my vehicle sitting in the service bay. I asked what they did to fix it; and the service manager responded that he put new brake rotors on the front. THE MAIN COMPLAINT was the rear differential! I asked what did you to to fix the rear? He replied that he couldn’t hear a noise at all, after putting close to 100 miles on my car driving it while I was gone. I got them in my car went across the street to a bank parking lot and replicated the noise within 5 mins. They had 5 weeks!! After returning to the dealership a group of 3 salesman gathered about 10 feet away so that they could listen to everything that I was saying to the General Manager who had gotten involved, because we were upset that my car still wasn’t fixed. The salesman were rudely cursing at my Son, and threatening to fight him. (This was going both ways) One of them names Jimmy told the GM that he needed to get us the F*** out of there! (Keep in mind that I spent 50K on the Camaro, and purchased it from THEM) They stuck their noses into my business where it certainly didn’t belong! I was given a loaner vehicle, and was promised that my vehicle would be fixed upon my return. That night My Son received a friends request from the salesman Gabriel Poston on Facebook. So these guys went through my paperwork, my personal information and got our names to look up my Son on social media. I promise... it wasn’t in a “friendly manner”. I received a call two days later stating that my car was fixed, and ready for pickup. I picked it up, drove out of the parking lot... and guess what?! The noise is still there! I popped my hood this morning, to find that someone sprayed a chemical on top of the motor cover and all the pretty red paint is gone. This place is a JOKE! Somebody is gonna fix my car, or I will be seeing them in the courtroom next!! Beware of the stalking salesman working there! It’s scary to think and realize that they have such easy access to everyone’s information the way they do. More
Service Called service as we were traveling the interstate with abs brake light and stablitrack light on. They made an immediate appt. Exceptonal Customer Service! I brought my 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe for some Warranty repairs and Spoke with Sammy and Dan in the Service Dept. And I must tell you these guys are the B I brought my 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe for some Warranty repairs and Spoke with Sammy and Dan in the Service Dept. And I must tell you these guys are the Best. Very knowledgable, professional and they made me felt like I was the only customer even during a very busy period. They explained to me what they were gonna do to fix the issue and everything went exactly the way it was explained. They will be getting all of my business and I will be sending business to them.These guys are Top Notch!! More
Nobody knows what is going on at this dealer I made an appointment to take my car to Five Star Chevrolet in Carrollton, Texas, March 20, 2018, at noon. Jeff is the service person who took my inf I made an appointment to take my car to Five Star Chevrolet in Carrollton, Texas, March 20, 2018, at noon. Jeff is the service person who took my information and showed me the signup sheet for the shuttle. After waiting for 1.5 hours before returning to Jeff to find out the status of my Chevrolet HHR and when I could get a ride, Jeff had an estimated cost of four items that need attention. I chose two items, Jeff had me sign to perform the work and the cost estimate. I was told the car would be ready around 5:30 or 6pm and I would receive a call to let me know the work was complete. I asked them to drop me ½ mile away at old downtown Carrollton’s Rock Shop to pass the time. I called at 5pm and after being on hold for 10 minutes, I was told the worker was having trouble with the rocker arms and it would be ready in the morning around 8:30 and I would receive a call. I was not offered a loaner car; I was not offered a ride home. My boss gave me a ride home. By 9am, March 21, 2018, I had not received a call so I called, was put on hold for several minutes while someone went to check on the status. The person told me they would need another 2 to 3 hours to complete the work on my Chevrolet HHR. I explained I had to open a business ½ mile from Five Star Chevrolet and I needed a ride to work. I was given the name and number of the driver to call to arrange pickup at my home. The driver arrived at 9:45am, told me my car was ready to go and he was taking back to the dealership. Driver (Pat Miller) said he did not know why I was told the car needed 2 to 3 more hours of work, as he was told my car was ready the previous evening. Since I did not have time to pick up my car and open the business at 10am I asked Pat Miller to drive me to old Downtown Carrollton to the Rock Shop where we arrived at 10am. I called at 5:30m to get a ride to Five Star Chevrolet to get my Chevrolet HHR. I was told the driver had gone home for the day. I was put on hold for a full 16 minutes before anyone returned to speak with me, so I called in the meantime from another phone and reached Dustin. After telling my whole long story and how aggravated I was at the lack of service a driver was sent the ½ mile to get me. Everyone was courteous, they knew I was aggravated and I told my story to everyone. When I was ushered to the Cashier the bill was higher than expected. Mind you, I was never given any copy of any paperwork I signed. The Cashier looked for Jeff’s original paperwork but could not find it. She showed me the computer printout of what was in the computer. I just did not remember the cost being $1,200. I read the invoice, was not happy with it and asked to speak to the manager. Response: he has left for the day, we are not allowed to give out his phone number, and I can call him tomorrow. At this point promised delivery of my vehicle was over 24 hours past due. I wanted to drive my car home but was told I could not drive it home without paying, and as the Cashier lied to me, it was to for insurance purposes and to protect me. As I read the invoice over I noticed multiple inaccuracies which made me even more angry. The promised time was March 21, 2018 on the invoice, however the actual promised time was March 20, 2018, and I was told they had to adjust the date since it went over to today. Really? Someone has taught these clerical people to mess with the facts to make management reports look better. The time according to the invoice the car was ready is 4pm March 21, 2018. This is the fourth report of time my vehicle was ready to pick up! There was also some date on the invoice dated 2015. The Cashier offered to arrange a loaner car for me. Dustin came to see if he could help with the confusion over the cost of services but was unable to locate the paper I had signed. After providing 3 types of information I was provided a loaner car. Again, I was not provided a copy of anything I had to sign. More
