We were treated well, we were well informed and not pressured into anything we were not interested in. Usually, when you think of buying a car, you think of high pressure, discomfort and confusion. You will find none of that at this dealer. Everyone was smiling, full of information and very helpful. Speaking of Mr. Hess, it is not often that you find someone who really loves his job. It is refreshing and definitely makes your experience working with him pleasant for sure. Since we were looking for an SE model, which most dealers have only one or tow, it was not an easy process to find the right color and price. Lisa was always very responsive to the myriad questions we asked and I really appreciated how up front she was with all information. Also, she was able to work with me to get me the best possible price. I must have contacted at least 12 dealers in the area, and Lisa by far was able to offer me the best price. Some other dealers did have similar prices, but the customer service was no good, or they were trying to sell me a car with 100 to 150 miles on it. Not Lisa. All the Fitzmall cars were in mint condition or just off the delivery truck from the Toyota factory. Lisa also went the extra mile to make sure I got the right financing rate, a good price for me trade in and to follow up with all other promised items. Lisa is a true professional that made me feel good about buying a car. I thanks completely to her I would definitely go back to Fitzmall Toyota. I have bought from Fitzgerald in the past (twice). I have had nothing but good experiences thus far. When my family was looking for a new Hyundai, without much investigating Fitzgerald seemed to have t have had nothing but good experiences thus far. When my family was looking for a new Hyundai, without much investigating Fitzgerald seemed to have the best price on the vehicle we were looking for. After digging a little deeper, I uncovered a number of dealerships that "appeared" to have better prices than Fitzgerald. Just as the salesman suggested, MOST of these competitors were hiding something. (multiple rebates built into prices, excluding other items like freight, etc). However, when I located one dealership that was able to beat Fitzgerald's prices, I was treated as if I had gone crazy. Sales manager and sales person assured me that this price couldn't be possible. Had I not actually driven out to the other dealership to find out, I would have over paid for my car by almost $2000. Needless to say, I purchased the same car from the other dealership, and will definitely bring my business there first in the future. The Fitzgerald salesman was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and an overall great guy. I would have preferred to give him my business. However, something rubbed me the wrong way when I located a better price for the same car, and Fitzgerald dismissed it as some sort of anomaly (rather than honoring their price match guarantee). I understand that they are in the business of making money. But when a savvy customer locates a better price, the dealership should man up and honor their word, rather than dismiss the deal as nonsense. More
Mr Allen Soon was so very helpful with pricing a used car for us. He was courteous and went through all the pricing on a Chevy Chevalier, taking his time to make sure I understood all the charges. Bought my Hybrid Sonata from Mr Hess and Mr Rosenfeld. Mr Hess called when my car arrived and had me out of the store in less than 90 mins. Phil is a very nice and easy to talk to person. Both Rob and Phil have been highly professional in everything: deep knowledge of the product they sold, communication skills, negotiations, general attitude. They weren’t pushy. They were accommodating to my needs. I will strongly recommend their service for anyone who wants to buy either a new or used car. More
My wife & I had been hunting a very elusive deal on a Toyota Venza for the last month or so. I work in customer service & I can tell the difference between a good experience & a bad one. Our salesperson Jaime was extremely patient & informative throughout the whole process. Definitely interested in getting you the vehicle you want for the price you’re interested in. There were no games played. We knew exactly the vehicle that we wanted & how much we wanted to pay for it. Jaime not only made this happen but came in on his off day to ensure our vehicle was delivered. On the day of the purchasing, Jaime not only stayed past the closing time when we finished, but made sure we were completely comfortable with our vehicle before we drove off. He did this very patiently & dare I say it, made the car buying experience fun. If you’re serious about getting a vehicle, stop by Fitzgerald’s Auto Mall in Gaithersburg & see Jaime. This was THE BEST car buying experience I have ever had; and it was all due to one phenomenal salesman: JAIME SHUPE. This was going to be my daughter's first vehicle so we wanted everything to be perfe and it was all due to one phenomenal salesman: JAIME SHUPE. This was going to be my daughter's first vehicle so we wanted everything to be perfect (and a surprise). Despite being 1000 miles away, I attempted to initiate the process via email. JAIME was nothing less than SPECTACULAR. He noted the specifications of the desired vehicle, promised he would do everything in his power to locate the vehicle (eventually driving approximately 8 hours round trip to obtain the vehicle), and communicated with us EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. He even advised me that I probably should not accept the vehicle he initially located because it had excessive mileage for a new vehicle (> 400 miles) despite the fact that it was the closest and would have been the easiest for him to obtain. By the time I was initially contacted by JAIME, I had already been contacted by numerous other salesmen from multiple dealerships all of whom had proven to be unprofessional and incompetent at best, and often bordering on unethical. JAIME was a breath of fresh air; he epitomized INTEGRITY, COMPETENCE, and SINCERITY. He EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS every step along the way. In fact, he did everything he could to accentuate the surprise: when we showed up at the dealership, he had the vehicle parked inside the show room with a sign on it advertising this was my daughter's vehicle... truly a "Kodak Moment". He made the process as simple as possible and, most importantly, he didn't attempt to play games. If you are serious about purchasing a vehicle, just let him know your expectations, and YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Believe it or not, an HONEST CAR SALESMAN is not an extinct species. More
