Th I got my car serviced at FitzHyundai in Rockville today. I've been coming to this location for years. Friendly, very reliable staff. Right on time. They take time to explain what kind of service you are getting, the cost, the reason. They give great recommendations. Very honest and caring staff. I would recommend this location in a hearbeat. Not trustworthy or Transparent My 15 year old Kia finally died and as much as I did not want to expose myself to the buying a new car experience, I need a car and tried Fitzmall bec My 15 year old Kia finally died and as much as I did not want to expose myself to the buying a new car experience, I need a car and tried Fitzmall because I believed that there were trustworthy and transparent and heard and read a lot about the Hyundai. I was led to believe that I qualified for 0% financing on a Hyundai Kona. I was presented with the 2020 Kona, and told them I was sold, I knew that I loved it. When the papers came to sign, I was told that the 0% financing was only available on the 2019 Kona. I asked to see the 2019 Kona and was told that there were none available :-( I was then given a price that offered a .9% financing and agreed that was close enough. I was also told that I as a veteran, I would receive a $500 Veterans discount. When I was presented with the invoice, the price was $1,650 higher than the price I was quoted. When I asked why the difference, I was told that in order to qualify for the .9% financing, I would need to relinquish the $1,650 rebate that was on the invoice resulting in an $1,650 increase in the price of the car that I was quoted! I was treated like I did not understand the numbers, when I was clearly quoted the cost and the interest rate. They tried to make it right by giving me more on my trade so we agreed to the deal,,,,,hours and hours after my morning appointment. By time I got to finance, I was told that since my Veterans document were in my married not my maiden name, they could not give me credit for it at that time. However, they would do whatever necessary to get $500 veterans rebate mailed to me if I would provide my license, social security card, and other identification. (I am a Federal Employee with Veterans Preference and dog tags). Three e mails later, and no closer to getting my $500. I don't see a clear path from the dealership to my rebate and will try to contact Hyundai directly. I went to pick up my car from the dealership in good faith, and left in good faith, only to be disappointed more than once along the way, and still not satisfied as I wait for my $500 Veterans Rebate. I don't like writing bad surveys and but will share my experience both good and bad with others to increase awareness. More

Jenny Sharabany at Fitzgerald Hyundai put all of the others to shame. She answered all my questions and told me about features that I didn't know to ask about. She knew her Kona EV inside and out. She was also fun, friendly and easy to talk to. I was dreading going into dealerships, but she made the car-researching process a pleasure. Her manager, David Ascher, also was friendly and didn't apply any pressure. More
This was the best experience I’ve ever had buying a car Craing Collins, my sales Consultant, made my experience as easy as possible. From the time i walked in to the time that. I walked out i was treated wi Craing Collins, my sales Consultant, made my experience as easy as possible. From the time i walked in to the time that. I walked out i was treated with respect and a friendliness that was unexpected by a car dealership. I also wanted to mention how instrumental Jake, the sales manager, was in the final deal. He called the Frederick Fitzgerald Automall to have the car delivered from there when Craig was unavailable. Overall it was an amazing experience. More

Tried to scam me I visited the dealership and showed the salesperson and the sales manager, Jake, the quotes I received from the competitors to see if they are willing I visited the dealership and showed the salesperson and the sales manager, Jake, the quotes I received from the competitors to see if they are willing to match the price. I specifically asked "Out The Door (OTD)" price, and they assured me they could work it out for me. And then the sales rep asked me how much I was willing to pay for the down payment for finance rate purposes and I gave him a range to see which will get me the best finance rate. After 40 minutes of waiting, the salesperson and manager printed me a sheet that has a breakdown of MSRP, invoice, discount, fees, but also slid in the "our" down payment and made it look like it was a discount. The MSRP of the car was ~$50,000 + tax & other fees ~$4,000 = $54,000 - "Total Discount" $12,000 = $42,000. But the "very generous" offer they gave me was $43,000. Basically, I almost paid $52k for $50k car. Are you joking? They could've just told me that they could not beat the competitor's price instead of making me spent almost two hours and exhaust us and then slap me in the face with this so-called "discount (aka my own downpayment)" I found that out later and asked the sales manager about the "discount" because it looked somewhat similar to what I was putting in, and his tone completely changed and told me that it only makes sense for me to put down at least $12k to get the price down to $43,000, Need I say more? It's totally up to you if you choose to work with them, but I would not recommend this dealership to anyone I know. More

But we lov The 2011 Sonata year was not the best one for Hyundai. Lots of problems. We didn't know that when we bought a new one from Fitzgerald. But we loved it for most of the time we drove it. But I loaned it to my daughter who was visiting and she drove it to Brooklyn with her family. On the way back the car stopped in Delaware. Had to be towed 112 miles back to Fitzgerald. Needed a new motor. Turned out it was under warranty, and it was replaced at no charge. Then another problem with the steering wheel shaft. It, too, was replaced. And three weeks ago, the car stopped again. This time it needed a transmission. In each of these instances,. as inconvenient and frustrating as they were - Fitzgerald (Rich Sukhram was our service rep and advocate) connected with Hyundai and got the replacement costs covered, Fiitzgerald did the work quickly and we also got a loaner car for some of that time. It is the reason why we are buying another car from Fitzgerald in next month More
