Good Service I leased a Sonata Plug-in Hybrid from this dealership. I had done my research on the car and communicated via email prior to arriving. The negotiatio I leased a Sonata Plug-in Hybrid from this dealership. I had done my research on the car and communicated via email prior to arriving. The negotiation process was somewhat easy. They delivered the car to my house which was a nice gesture since I live about 30 miles from the dealership. The only downside to the experience was the time it took to speak to an F&I person. Once I spoke to her, she was quick and efficient. She did not offer my any additional insurance products. This was good, because I would not have been remotely interested in purchasing any and it would have been an immediate point of contention More

Poor finance department experience This dealership made an error in calculating the amount we owed on the car due to an inability to understand our credit union's financing process. We This dealership made an error in calculating the amount we owed on the car due to an inability to understand our credit union's financing process. We were in the room with the finance department lead when he called the credit union and heard them talk him through how to calculate the number that should be on the draft check. Their directions led us to come up with what would be the correct (higher) number, but he miscalculated it and talked us out of the correct answer after repeated attempts to point out his error. Our feeling was, "Well, we tried, if he's wrong, it's the dealer's responsibility." Six days after purchasing the car, the dealer called to say the credit union gave them the wrong information and they would need more money from us. We spoke with the manager to clarify that, in fact, the dealership was the sole party at fault, and because of this, the dealer should take responsibility for the error. The dealer refused, offering instead to "try to match" the credit union's rate if we wanted to refinance with them. Since the dealer has lost all of our trust, this was not an option and the error required us to refinance our existing loan with the credit union, applying for a new loan (which involved another ding to our credit report and the possibility for a new, higher rate), and a significant amount of extra time and stress. I am extremely disappointed and outraged with the customer service exhibited by this dealer. Collectively, we and our immediate family have purchased 4 cars from Fitzgerald Auto Malls in the last 3 years. I will never return to this dealer to purchase a car and I have shared my experience--and will continue to do so--with anyone and everyone I encounter who inquires about our car or is in the market for a new car. More
