As promised... Here is my update. I went back into the dealership yesterday with the same recording and spoke to BIll in service. He listened to the recording and the expansion valve was replaced without issue. As of today the noise has not come back. This issue as earlier stated is all over the internet and Hyundai blogs. When my car was done I spoke to Bill again who said that 20 minutes after I dropped my car off another 2.0T Sonata came in with the EXACT same issue. I understand that noises can not be replicated every time, but the first time I took the car in there was no effort to hear (not just listen) about the issue. Today I am very happy and thank Bill for his help!
