Finnegan Auto Group is an unethical, manipulative dealership that you should avoid at all costs. They illegally ran our credit without consent—despite us explicitly telling them not to—before we even dealership that you should avoid at all costs. This blatant violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and invasion of privacy was just the start. When confronted, they tried to lure my wife into signing a credit app to cover their tracks, refusing to discuss their ‘great deal’ until she did. It’s a manipulative bait-and-switch tactic to trap you into buying from them before you can shop competitors. The sales manager, GM Zeke Torres, and owner Gary Finnegan were all informed, yet they’ve done nothing but ignore us, hoping we’ll give up. They’d rather face complaints and fines with the CFPB and Texas AG than own up to their actions or offer a solution. Their business ethics, respect for customers, and service are nonexistent. Worse, they seem to target women with manipulative tactics—repeatedly going behind my back to pressure my wife while lying to me about it. Avoid this dealership at all costs unless you want to be deceived, disrespected, and legally violated. Shop anywhere else. More
Recently got my oil changed and tires rotated. Christina was very helpful with making the process smooth. Given got a car wash. She checked up on me and kept me updated with status of my truck. Re: service of Ram Promaster 1500 on Monday, 1/13/25 The state inspection was completed. I have to assume the oil change, tire rotation, and complimentary multi-point inspection were completed. However, the air pressure alert light is still on, and so I must also assume that the tech did not check that particular point. Discount Tire, here I come. I also asked that the recall service be performed. It was not, and apparently the service writer did not even order it. Another service writer was to schedule that repair. I have not heard back about that. I recommend Finnegan to Dodge etc. owners in Rosenberg because it's the only game in town. Also, I appreciate the complimentary Uber service and vehicle wash. If I had known that the recall was not going to be addressed, I would have stayed at the dealership. I do not know if a car wash is still a perk. While I was still thinking I'd wait, I had asked that it not be done so that I could get out of there quickly. I am now trying to submit this review but the app will not let me because I haven't rated the employees I worked with. I did not work with Sales, Finance, or Management, I will select random employees just so I can get out of this review. More
Would highly recommend Finnegan for your next vehicle search. Very responsive, cordial, and professional team who always treated me with respect and “LISTENED” and understood what I wanted and didn’t wan search. Went for an oil change, they said an hour and a half, so we waited for the vehicle. 2 hours and 40 minutes into the wait time the service advisor came and told us that the bolt was stripped and that they we we waited for the vehicle. 2 hours and 40 minutes into the wait time the service advisor came and told us that the bolt was stripped and that they were going to cover it because my last oil change was there. And it shouldn’t take much longer well 3 hours of waiting I just told her to give my car. Mind you we got there at 10am for our appointment and left a little after one. I guess they cooked for the dealership there because all the technicians were coming out to get there plates. And we just kept waiting and waiting. Never going back!! You would think going to a dealership and paying extra for their service at least they would treat the customers right. Especially after they stripped my bolt and didn’t even replace it the last time I was there. Unacceptable!! More
