The engine light was on again. After reading the operator manual I found that the gas cap could cause the fault I was seeing. They replaced the cap and the error was fixed. Engine Light On I was able to get my Jetta in right away and found out there was an emission leak at some time in the past. No failure at the inspection time. To I've purchased many vehicles in my 50 years of driving and would easily rate Findlay Volkswagen in the top 5% of all dealerships I've experienced. Too often, buying a new car has been an unpleasant experience as the typical dealership tries to squeeze every nickel out of the deal. But, every once on in awhile you come across a dealership like Findlay where the sale is low pressure, purchase and trade values are up front and fair, and you drive away feeling good, and not molested, by the experience. In the 8 years I've lived in Flagstaff, I've bought 9 vehicles. Although I've always tried to buy local, every other dealership forced me to drive to Phoenix to get a fair deal. Findlay, on the other hand, made it clear from the start that they wanted my business and offered me a deal that was every bit as competitive as Phoenix. It was a great feeling to not only buy the car I wanted at a very fair price, but to also be able to keep the money local. Thank you Findlay for breaking an 8 year drought. More

The price that was on the car did not reflect the add-ons. I understand that they need to make money and went ahead and purchased the car. Juan was really nice and helped out with the car. So far, impressed. I felt comfortable talking with the service manager. He told me how long it would take for the oil change service, and that's how long it took. He let me know some mechanical issues going on with the vehicle, let me know how much it would cost to fix the issues, and said "just let me know when you want to get the vehicle in to fix those issues". Then, I got a call about a week later from the dealership asking if everything went well with the service, and if everyone I dealt with provided a good experience...what?! Checking in with your customers to make sure they were happy with the service provided them? That's crazy, or, just incredibly smart!! More

He answered all questions truthfully and worked hard to earn our business. We did some work over the phone after our first meeting and before the final one. He helped us understand options and we never felt that anything was not explained clearly. We talked to several dealers and were glad to find Derek. It was easier dealing with them because of his honesty and professionalism. We appreciated that, as it is not always the case. If you are looking for a VW, this is a good place to deal. They backed up everything that was said over the phone.....no surprises....Nice!!.....and oh yes...we love the new Passat. This is really a nice vehicle.....very impressed. More

No "oh, by the ways" or other typical car dealer nonsense when I got there. All I can say is that I am 110% pleased with the personnel that I dealt with, and most of all, very pleased with the deal that was made. Most importantly, nobody insulted my intelligence, which seems to be a habit with many car dealerships. The car was completely serviced and ready for me to drive away once the paperwork was done. I left with a smile on my face and THAT is something that I haven't experienced for many years. I am completely satisfied with every aspect of this deal: What I was allowed for trade-in, the final price, the professional, yet friendly manner of my sales rep and manager, and most of all with the car itself. When I called them they got me in that day to check out the problem. They even checked to see if the part that needed replacement was still under warranty, which it was for another two weeks. They replaced the part the next day as it needed to be ordered. They provided us with a loaner car while ours was in the shop.
