I took my used Prius in last Saturday for regular maintenance appointment at 9:30am and I knew it would be pretty busy. My service advisor, Dalton, was friendly, courteous as well as apologetic abou maintenance appointment at 9:30am and I knew it would be pretty busy. My service advisor, Dalton, was friendly, courteous as well as apologetic about the wait time. As this was the first time my car had the maintenance needed message, he looked over the vehicles service records. Since it had been fully serviced when I purchased the car earlier this year, he said that the green package was all I needed. (yea!). He asked if I would be waiting there or would I like to utilize their partnership with Lyft(I believe) if I wanted to go somewhere. I said I would wait, as I brought a book, and he said he would do his best to see that my car would be ready by 11:45-ish. I assured him that I was prepared for a wait. I was in the lounge when I glanced up and saw Dalton heading my way to inform me that my car was ready. He went over the report, assured me I had plenty of brake pads (I had been concerned as my work commute is 515/93 and had to hit my brakes a lot) and noted that everything looked great. He then escorted me to the service cashier. It was then that I glanced at the time: 11:45! Thank you Dalton for your excellent service and Findlay Toyota for providing a comfortable waiting area. Even better was not upselling on service needs - very much appreciated! More
I went there for oil change and they found out my tire was broken , so I didn't have a car for 3 days. My advisor was so rude. He did not call me for an update. He told me it will cost me 20-30 dollars was broken , so I didn't have a car for 3 days. My advisor was so rude. He did not call me for an update. He told me it will cost me 20-30 dollars , even if my car is under 2 years warranty . When I picked my car , the cashier asked for $45. I asked for explanation. They realized it is their mistake and fixed it. They should have wash my car, I got it twice dirtier than I left it to them. Ridicules service. The inside car drawer was on the car's floor when I went in. Nobody has noticed it. More
I had the 90K maintenance done. I was told I needed a new battery, and showed me the printout of the battery reading. It didn’t seem right because I just bought a new battery less than a year ago. So I went to place place where I bought it, they did a diagnostic test on it twice and it was perfectly fine, they even did the second test in front of me. When I had my 60k maintenance done at Findlay, I was told I needed my brakes done. Yet I took it somewhere else, and they said they just needed to be cleaned and adjusted, which they did for me. I never replaced the brakes. So when I took my car for the 90k maintenance, it wasn’t mentioned I needed brakes anymore… More
