They did not have the truck I wanted so I looked elsewhere. Joe asked me how I was doing. When I told him that I bought a Nissan, and he asked why(?). I told him I found the truck I wanted, and that it was $5,000 less expensive than the Toyota counterpart. I also thanked his for his help a few days previous. After a moment of silence Joe said "wait until you trade it in and see how much it's worth!" He then promptly hung up on me. Unbelievably rude, and very unprofessional. I'm no longer a Toyota "fan". refuse to acknowledge a problem Bought a brand new Prius front tire started wearing out. Replaced more than one dozen tires one side of the front of the car in less than 75,000 miles Bought a brand new Prius front tire started wearing out. Replaced more than one dozen tires one side of the front of the car in less than 75,000 miles! Took it to dealership multiple times called Toyota. Toyota stated not a factory issue. Dealer would not help blamed issue on someone else. Took car to another dealership they found the problem and the car is fine now no more new tires More
Lied to and wasted my time Some background: Looking to buy a 2015 Tundra Crewmax SR5. Did my research online, Consumer Reports, TrueCar, and Edmunds. TrueCar began my spam sessi Some background: Looking to buy a 2015 Tundra Crewmax SR5. Did my research online, Consumer Reports, TrueCar, and Edmunds. TrueCar began my spam session with the dealers, but I was prepared for it. Also had financing, trade-in appraisal, and down payment all lined up. Bought my previous vehicle (2008 Scion Xb) from same dealer before the relocated across the freeway, great experience. Nailed down a decent price with Ryan Mannion, Internet Sales Manager. Tell him we're coming in Friday night after work. We get there and Ryan is gone, they don't have any more trucks similar in spec or price. We walk around for a while and ask Jonathan to test drive a 4x4 TRD. We like it and they have one fresh off the transport. We sit down and start the negations. We are quickly escalated to Rick Glenn, Internet Sales Director. He's so overbearing and intimidating that my wife needs to step outside. Two hours later we still can't agree on a number for the truck (did get a better financing quote with TFS) and didn't even discuss my trade-in, so we walked. Next day Ryan calls and wants to make the sale. I already have a lower quote from Internet Sales of Dave Wilson's, so Ryan offers to get the DW truck and beat the price. Complications ensue, so we ask for the one they had last night and verbally agree on a price. We come in and meet with Ryan, we see the truck getting pulled in for PDI and make sure that's the one we want. The extended warranty pitch comes and I decline, we walk in and sit down to get a quote breakdown and hopefully start the discussion on the trade-in. Here's where it gets interesting. We wait while everyone stands around the desk (Rick is there) eating some cheeseburgers. Ryan returns with bad news, the truck was damaged during PDI. I ask to see the damage, "oh we can't have anyone back there for legal reasons." We were just there looking at it less than 10 minutes ago. So we can't have that truck, they don't have another, and can't get the DW truck. I ask about my movie tickets from last night’s test drive, wait for them to fill out the forms and we walk, again. As we're walking out, Ryan chases us down and says the truck has been pulled around and we can check it out. There's no visible damage and no one knows what actually happened to the truck and the Service Manager won't be in until Monday. We leave and I call and leave a voicemail for Rich Abajian, GM. I get a call back from Gay Otey, Findlay Customer Service Manager. Great lady, genuinely wants to get to the bottom of things and says she'll make a few calls. She can't get any answers and wasn't sure why we didn't have a deposit on the truck, since any one can buy it according to the system. She calls back with John Barr on the line, he explains the price we were quoted was not something he could actually sell that truck for and would be losing too much money. I ask why Rick and Ryan would agree, and he mentioned they may have been a little too aggressive hoping to make up for it with Extended Warranty or other accessories. Bam, there it is. They didn't want to sell me the truck for the quoted price, so they made up an elaborate lie to get out of it without saying as much. Gay calls Monday to follow up with me, still no answers on what happened to the truck, but it was on the lot waiting to be sold. I ask if I can speak with Rich, no I've already talked with John Barr and that's as high as it gets. I ask if Rich is too important to talk to his customers, she said no that's just what he pays other people for. I will no longer be doing any business with this dealership or the entire Findlay franchise. Disrespect and deceit are the name of the game here, and my time has been wasted. More
No customer loyalty After buying many cars at this dealership I discovered the deals were only fair to poor and trade in appraisals were on the low side. You may wonder t After buying many cars at this dealership I discovered the deals were only fair to poor and trade in appraisals were on the low side. You may wonder that if this is the case ,why did I buy/lease so many cars from this dealership? I made the mistake of trusting them. When I finally bothered to shop their deals and trade in amount offered I found that I could do better at their competitors. When I approached them with my concerns they did not even respond to me. Customer loyalty, no way ,VALUE ME AS A MANY TIME BUYER?not here. I also had many problems at the service dept. which I will not go in to now. My advice, shop around and do not be fooled by a commissioned sales agent. More
No integrity and zero customer respect Every negative thing you have heard about car dealerships, you will encounter at Findlay Toyota of Henderson. I do have to start out by saying that Every negative thing you have heard about car dealerships, you will encounter at Findlay Toyota of Henderson. I do have to start out by saying that this is partially my fault for not printing out the offer and description of the vehicle before going in. But this dealer, Findlay Toyota has NO integrity and ZERO respect for their customers!!! The unit had just come out of the shop for inspection, so it hadn't been detailed and there was no window sticker yet. . They started negotiating at $26K even though they had listed a price of $25K. (I found that out when I got home) Immediately jacked up the price by a grand since there was no tag in the window. Ad said it was certified. They pulled the certification out during negations. I made one request in the whole deal. Clean the mud off the frame. It was caked in mud. No problem said the sales manager. I will leave them a note to make sure it's completed. I go back Monday, asked the sales manager if they had cleaned the mud off. His response, I sure hope so. Go to the vehicle, take a look underneath. You guessed it. Caked in mud. They hadn't touched the outside except for the quicky wash they did on Friday. Water spots everywhere. Bird crap on the windshield. At least they got most of the dog fur out. Could not get out of that place fast enough. I hate the fact that I dealt with this dealership. I hate they they have no integrity, no respect for their customers. And I hate that I allowed myself to be manipulated by Findlay Toyota. More

The first time I visi I'm so disappointed in my experience at Findlay Toyota. I went there three times and interacted with some internet sales people. The first time I visited the dealership, it wasn't bad. After the first time though, every experience and interaction got worse. They continually showed me cars that I didn't want because it just seemed that they didn't want to admit they didn't have what I wanted. They lied (or did not know anything about their own cars) about a question I had asked four sales people - once again, this seemed to be just to sell me any car they could. And when it came time to get my $500 fully refundable deposit back (which was used to hold a car I thought was what I wanted - but after seeing it, I knew it wasn't what I wanted), I had to contact the dealership (multiple people and methods) 11 times before I could get someone to call me back. I was told I had to go to the dealership to get the money, but when I arrived, I was berated in the middle of the dealership for not buying their car. It was the WORST dealership experience I've ever had and this would have been my fifth car. I could not believe the treatment I was receiving. And even after that, they said they would process my return the next day and then it took five more days to be refunded. I do not trust this dealership and believe they would outright lie to someone to sell a car. Horrible experience. More
Terrible experience Having purchased over 10 cars, mostly new, in my my lifetime, I am not naive about how to proceed in a car dealership. My experience was horrific, and Having purchased over 10 cars, mostly new, in my my lifetime, I am not naive about how to proceed in a car dealership. My experience was horrific, and I don't use that word lightly. WE spent 3 hours at the dealership after putting a $5000,00 deposit down on a Saturday. Over the weekend we received word that our son, who is very independent needed our help. We decided to fly out on the following Tuesday and called the dealership Monday morning to inform them that we would be leaving town and wanted to clear up our problem with our son before moving ahead with the purchase of the Avalon we had picked out. Spoke with the manager and he said no problem come on in and we will straighten out the problem and return our deposit. We were very distraught over our son's dilemma and pleased that Findlay Toyota was understanding. We drove to the dealership and spent the next 3 hours (yes 3 hours) resisting the hardest sales pitch I have ever experienced. Finally we were told that they could not give us back our deposit over some problem with our credit card company who was refusing to credit our account because we had disputed the charge. We called our credit card company at that point. . The credit card company said that there was no dispute because the charge had not even been posted yet. Finally the Dealership manager after bring caught in a second lie agreed to issue a credit. The first lie telling us how he understood our problem and would give us our deposit back if we came down to the dealership. Dardenne Tiffany More
